What happened to "OMFG IF YOU WNAT FIX THINGS THEN VOTESES"? Here we have a candidate, who recognizes the issue and is willing to make it part of his campaign. And you are telling me that if we vote for him (Which is what you said we should do instead of complaining.), nothing will change?

Im saying as to is he just using it as a way to get elected or will he really do something about it? however I do respect Obama for at least trying to bring it up, though its just merely for votes.

If you passively accept that voting changes nothing, then why chew people out for "complaining"? Better yet, why offer voting as an alternative to "complaining" if yourself don't think said voting will accomplish anything?

You mistake me, I'm not saying don't vote for Obama because he offers to change it. I'm saying he is saying it in order to get elected and has yet to address the issue at hand. voting accomplishes something, if the person is willing to do the thing he promised in his campaign.

Which he was going to bring inequality to the campaign not matter if there was going to be an occupy protest or not (the question is will he make good on his promises though i remain positive but highly skeptical)

So now voting changes things then? Why didn't you just stick by that position in the first place......
Also, the Occupy Movement actually is the reason Obama is doing the whole income inequality thing. Like you said, trying to pull voters.

He would have brought it up if there was a no occupation movement. Yes voting changes things but only if the elected is wiling to change it themselves ( if they do not, then it has changed nothing, if they do then it has) its all about votes in the end.

Most likely not. He is addressing it because a large number of people within the demographic that he is able to draw votes from publicly made know their interest in the issue.
They don't use the term "Representative" for shits and giggles you know.

I still go with the fact that no matter what its going to be an issue that was brought up eventually, perhaps the problem with the entire occupy movement is that it did not start sooner however history can not be changed. though i still stand by my stance its not having the desired effect.

of corse a large number of demographics want income inequality changed, does not take a protest to show this. just because they are Representative does not mean they have to stick to what they are represting.

Or we could just agree that the Occupy movement is gay, but fundamentally has legitimate concerns, and move on with life.

No we must argue over it instead of coming to a reasonable conclusion, how dare we do the rational. Instead we must bash each other.

Yeah agreed, though I thought the Occupy movement was stupid to begin with.
