Welcome to our fourth day of our Month of Mods

Today we are talking about what is unquestionably one of the most popular mods of all time, the ArmA II Mod DayZ(ed). This Mod takes the original ArmA II map and spawns you somewhere within that 225 square kilometer area and tasks you with one goal, survive. This task is made more complicated by the fact there are zombies swarming all over the map, and not to mention other players who can kill you at any time to take your hard won loot. It’s a fascinating psychological experiment and an all round fantastic mod that gives you a truly unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Welcome to our third day of our Month of Mods

Today we are talking about a source mod, Battle Grounds 2. To play this mod all you need to have is a source engine based game installed on your computer. This mod is a multiplayer first person shooter with a twist. It takes place during the American Revolution. So you have a choice of fighting for the Americans or for the British using the various implements of the era, such as muskets and bayonets. FOR KING GEORGE AND BRITAIN!!!

Welcome to our second day in our Month of Mods Celebration.

Today we are talking about a Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption mod which completes the Star Wars universe by adding in the Clones and the Droids as playable factions. A feature which was sorely lacking in the first game Return of the Clones brings those two dimensions of the universe Star Wars together for your enjoyment in Empire at War. Finally now you can recreate the Clone Wars.

Welcome to our first day in our Month of Mods celebration

Today we are talking about a Medieval 2: Total War Mod called Hyrule Total War which converts everything into the Zelda universe. While the campaign still isn’t quite complete, the mod offers you a truly mind boggling array of units and factions to utilize from the Zelda universe. Everything from the Gorons to the Deku Scrubs, if it was even just remotely featured in the Zelda game it’s in this mod making it one of the most diverse mods out there.
