Wormholes have not been proven to exist, but are physically possible. However, regarding time-travel Niven's Third Law excellently states:
If the universe of discourse permits the possibility of time travel and of changing the past, then no time machine will be invented in that universe.

If time travel were possible, it would not send you back in time, just vastly limit the amount of time it would take to traverse to reach far off locations (via wormhole travel) or using FTL with special relativity: travelling close to the speed of light slows you down while everything else keeps on ticking by as usual.

We're quite sure of 4D, 3 dimensions of space, 1 of time. The rest are up for debate

I think the current record (for a theory) is 12D, its all beyond my knowledge of physics.

Anyway I just try to imagine (and fail) higher dimensional objects as examples. For example, a cube (3D) has a 2D shadow, such that a hypercube (4D) has a 3D shadow...

Our tiny little brains have troubles with this, but its a useful tool to show how extra dimensions, although pretty abstract may be very likely.

actually there is a theory with the wormholes of parallel universes, soooooooo meaning basicaly u r not actually going to the actual event happening but something kinda replaying itself over if tht makes sense, so u can not actually do anything to mess up the present

Wormholes represent massive localised curvature of space-time such that two points are 'bent' together, making the apparent distance shorter. Far as we theorise it doesn't circumvent the universal speed limit.

I always thought that was a reference to a fact that we never need to use more that 10% of our brains cos it is split into different parts.

scientists actually believe this. Tht only 10% of our brains are actually used. If u think about it tht means there might be a part of our brain tht knows how we can levitate

I think the 10% figure is an old wives tale, lots of MRI stuff shows all parts of the brain being used. I'm no neuroscientist so its likely the whole 100% isn't used, but 10% seems stupid.

Yeah well that's like saying why don't we use our washing machines to drive to work, the brain is specialised for different tasks in different regions (albeit loose regions due to neuro-plasticity), so its stupid.
