I think Obama will win as well. Especially when he gets his campaign really going. Having looked at several elections here in Canada (both federal and provincial) the polls at the start of the campaign and the polls at the end of election are not even close. What this year as taught me is to never underestimate the power of a good election campaign and I think Obama has proved before that he is an exceptional campaigner.

I'm gonna go with Obama. The Republican is simply not strong enough to challenge him. A stronger candidate might have given him a run for his money, but even then I'm sure he would have won. However, I will keep my eye on Mit Romney, he could have the makings of a candidate

Obama, the republican party if it has any chance to win needs to back one person up the entire way (which there is no way there going to back up Mitt Romney) i accept the race will be close, but in the end Obama will win. To the dismay to the 95% Republican population down in my section of Florida.

The only chance the Republican Party had was if Palin ran. She may not be smart, but she is sure popular. Still waiting with hope for Powell to run...

Not that much, shes mostly a joke people use to laugh at. But hey she does have the best domestic policy being so close to Russia and Canada.

It will all come down to how the economy is fairing next year, a worsening of the Euro-zone would spread over to us and bring us down into another recession spelling the end for Obama. In the past years presidential elections have become a referendum on the state of our country and that will hold true in 2012.

Yeah she is a joke to people who have a brain. The problem I have with her is the fact she ruined how perfect the McCain administration would have been with a smart VP.

Well when she was McCain's running mate she was not the media whore she was today. She was just a nobody governor from Alaska. It seemed like a good decision at the time.

Well yes it took awhile for everyone to see it. If only you could unveil your VP 48 hours to the vote.

I believe we should go back to the old ways, where the defeated becomes the VP of the president.

More in line of a check and balance system, as well as that by doing so you appeal to both the republicans and the democrats. (It worked pretty well when it was in style)

Your already dealing with virtual gridlock in the government, and that would only make it worse.

That system was garbage, we do not need a president and vice president who are at each other's throats for the next for years, or the vice president undermining everything the president is doing. The office of the presidency is far too important for this to occur. Further more the vice president has to assume the presidency if that position is vacated for whatever reason and should not be filled by the agenda that was regected by the majority of Americans.
