^Your birth is insignificant and only evidence that your mom gave your father a big sloppy blowjob before sex.

Make giant cilinder. Put in fuel. Put in more fuel. Not enough fuel. Light on fire. Reach space. Duck.
Simplified, yes, but you were just talking about reaching space itself. And no, I'm not blinded and I do not love the United States. If anyone's biased, it's you.

That doesn't make it less complex. Reaching, and returning from the moon is an infinitely more difficult task than just shooting something into space.

First off, my (belated) sincere condolences.

But in his defence, he really couldn't have known.

Its best to move on instead of reflecting on his death.

True, although I still stand by what I say. I could explain my reasons, but I find the timing somewhat inappropriate.

You seriously noticed that just now? I've come to the point where I think he's making those kind of mistakes on purpose. If not, feel free to make me feel like a dick.

So you have 0 idea how much effort the "8 months of planning" took, nor the cost of the materials, nor the knowledge needed to do it?

Recall that the Vanguard rocket crashed and burned shortly after ignition. Unless you are suggesting that you are more intelligent than those scientists.

The fact of the matter is that, at the time that Sputnik was launched, it was a massive scientific achievement. The technology had to be made from scratch alongside the science itself. Even if you could get a weather balloon into orbit, it doesn't count for much since the knowledge and information is already there. I bet that you could find a step-by-step direction manual online for doing it. The Russians had no such manual.

I get the impression that you simply have no appreciation for all the effort that was put into the endevor, and that is simply sad.

I don't want to be off topic, but yes, he always makes that mistake. I don't understand why, but I do believe he is just pissing around. He should know the difference between Your and You're at this point.

And the US took 100% of all their knowledge from the Russians, and applied that 12 years later to not only go into space, but also man the vehicle, land on the moon and get the men safely back to Earth.

Just the your-you're mistakes? Surely you've noticed the others.

Its actually a matter of simply posting without double checking what I'm posting.
