dosen't change the fact that the game it's self was poorly done and that part made for shock value were distasteful
But neither does it change the fact that in video games, it's a recurring theme, and doesn't just apply to MW3. Heck, didn't they kill a small boy in a Mass Effect gameplay thingy or something? Of course, the Reapers did it, so it's okay, you get to kill them anyway.
When? if you're talking about Solomon setting off a Nuke in France, it didn't actually build from a citizens' perspective, and just whack you all of a sudden, in that mission you were chasing the guy whom you thought carried the Nuke, but at the end of it all it was where you started. Not much shock value, as more of the GRU Agent and Sargeant Blackburn telling their story.
Like right when you find out the guy with the nuke you're chasing doesn't have it. There is a quick time event and instead of stabbing the dude you throw him under a train.
I do not think I am going to get the next COD which has a few details have been leaked to the public. Its going to be called, CALL OF DUTY: 2012 ... Something tells me it will have to do with the Mayan Calender or somethin. Sounds like some bullshit though but I think its going to be shit.
It would have to be a completely new story or something since the Modern Warfare series takes place between 2011 and 2017(not counting the 1996 assassination attempt of Zakhaev)
I'm uhhh... going to have to agree with lucy on this one. COD and battlefield were neck and neck and they needed a little boost to get more sales and used this. Thought the MW2 " No Russian " mission was kinda essential because if it didn't have that mission it would just be some news reporter saying it in a cutscene.
Mw3's singleplayer could have been cod4 (literally) with updated graphics or a co op and it still would have outsold bf3...
It could've not had one at all, most people now who buy it completely disregard the campaign and jump to multiplayer.
Actually... I would buy it (For the same price I bought MW3, 10 bucks) had it been a remake of the CoD4 campaign. Why wouldn't you, don't you remember, it had cheats! Infinite ammo! And not like that crappy infinite ammo where you just get unlimited magazines and what not, you could hold the trigger down and fire a RPG launcher like a machinegun! That would be friggin' AWESOME. Only if they had cheats though, if they didn't, fuck that.
As a giant nerd of the halo universe(mostly just the original trilogy) i took that verry personaly I AM DISSAPOINTED! Corupt mods insulting my taste in video games. ;-)
I wouldn't even say Half Life's story was presented well, it's still one of the most boring games I have ever played. Along with Mass Effect.
