I want another Shogun 2 Let's Play. The Date one was very amusing and I wouldn't mind seeing a Takeda clan campaign. I love the total war Let's Plays Stalin does and wouldn't mind seeing another one.

It was the only Total War Campaign I didn't like. It was unrelatable, just one small, pointless clan against another small, pointless clan. Now, Napoleon Total War was epic. Sending a Russian army from Sicily, cutting a bloody path through Italy, marching into Paris and barely escaping alive. Then invading Western France and going into Spain, only to be slaughtered because Stalin pressed auto-resolve.

Personally, I find Empire: Total War to be the most promising. The large, varied map makes the game all the more interesting as it can take in more diverse factions from a range of civilizations. I was kind of dissapointed with how they shrunk the map in Shogun 2. NTW was alright, since they were making the most of the land and dividing it up more so the same amount of terrictory remained. I hope that they will do one on a larger scale with the same kind of district-by-district setup they had in NTW, so the conquests will be even more epic, every inch a battle.

S2TW was interesting, but I wish that they had at least made the game work smoothly.

Yes I agree Karakoran, NTW was and forever be epic. I loved those LP's I just don't Stalin would go back to it so I settled for shogun 2. Even though I thought the Shogun LP was still amazing bc the battle animations are flawless. All the arrows flying, injured men crawling, and beautiful nodachi neck stabs really got me into thee battles. I just don't like the similar units in shogun 2 unlike in ETW and NTW. I loved the vast variety of units in those games but i think ETW was too big. I'm not a big fan of having to keep up with all those fronts. Its sometimes overwhelming.

For me, games can never be too big.

Try playing Darkest Hour and fighting multiple fronts, especially cross-continental.
It's IMPOSSIBLE if you don't pause frequently/go at the slowest speeds.

Haha, that's the whole point of the game, my friend.

I hate the Battles in TW. I try to play Campaign a lot because I love the build up and such and seeing everything come together. But half-way through the campaign it's just... Ugh. Battles again and again.

Yeah... the battles can become tedious if you are doing a marathon. But every once in a while, it is nice to be able to determine the outcome of major battles personally. Auto-resolves in some other games [as well as in TW] can be terrible sometimes.

I just think it's awesome cuz of the Ironclad like ships. It'll be interesting how naval battles will turn out.

Have you ever studied about the first Ironclads in the ACW? If they shot for historical accuracy in this DLC with the Ironclads, then it would be even more op than the Gattling Gun.

I love how the hole end of the video is just one big sales pitch for the Gattling Gun.

Never said I did I just think it's funny because thats really how it was. People from other countries (like the US and European countries) really did send people over just to pitch a weapone like anyother product.

Of course they did. Weapons have always been a commodity that everyone understands. If you don't understand why my gun is better than your Katana, I shoot your guard to demonstrate.
