triremes and all sorts i would be very interested in how this will be like and i will be able to enjoy roman era battles unlike the first game where i just found the gameplay unfamiliar compared to shogun 2 or medieval 2
Well no riots, violence, killing, raping etc are needed Rome was announced. yaaaay......... Empire UI and diplomacy please!
http://soe-assets-live.s3.amazonaws...medialist/screenshots/rome2/rome-screen-1.jpg ahh well heres some screenshots ahh just look at those triremes
Yes but this is triremes, triremes, and more triremes. Boats at least like triremes. I think with there charge and puncturing a hole tactic will make naval combat doable.
well u can ram into boats in fots so the ramming thing will just be amore emphasised thing then something new
Here is the PC Gamer article http://www.pcgamer.com/previews/tot...new-engine-naval-combat-multiplayer-and-mods/ I hope your all as happy as I am.
I can't wait for my naval invasion of greece, brave Roman men charging onto the beaches into the ranks of Greek's, as arrow fire mows them down, they stay strong and keep charging.
In all fairness, I was hoping for a Total War game around the 1850s-1870s ("Bismarck: Total War"?), but I'll be happy with Rome. Keep it bloody and fun.
Why can't it be something original? Fall of the Samurai was amazing, but now were just getting the same old setting we used to have...
I want Rome total war 2 to be a M rated game for blood and gore. I want the river to be red, the groves of the bricks in the streets unable to be seen, and battlefields unrecognizable after battle.
They are adding in EXTREMELY new features to the game. Naval and land battles in the same battle, beach landings, Rome as one faction, cities that don't look like a square in the middle of no wear, and I'm sure more on the way for new features. I don't think we have to worry about repetitiveness
