    Rebuttle or GTFO.

I'm saying your opinion is incredibly falliable and uncertain and that there is no reason to believe what you do simply because it was taught in school and researched by a bunch of half-properly educated scientists.

So you are claiming the majority of scientists to be "half properly educated" Are you fucking kidding me?

    ???

No, the majority of the scientists that back your arguement tend not to be the 60 year olds with a long and intricate carear doing science.
They tend to be people with phony degrees that get passed along.

The majority of scientists that back this argument are the majority of scientists in the world. You are still stuck in 1999

Not nerely the majority of scientists predict what your saying. Sure they will conceed that temperatures are rising, but Scientists don't all believe the same thing. Everything has a minor variety to them. If I'm not mistaken most believe that the rise was inevidable yet humans have helped increase it, not that it's entirly human based or anything.

No shit Sherlock. We are speeding it up at alarming rates WHICH IS WHAT WE NEED TO BE WORRIED ABOUT! It should not occur at the pace it is occurring, and the polar caps should not be melting at all Yet they are and at alarming rates

    Alarming? Hardly.

Sure it sucks, but it's not like tomorrow morning the Arctic is going to melt. And when the beach waters start rising like you say they will it will be gradual and will have plenty of time to stop it.

So here's a plan, we keep doing what we're doing and when the beaches start over-flowing we'll "know" you were right and stop emissioning. Thus, we're all perfectly fine and don't need drastic measures in the present.

When the beaches start flooding it will be too late. Thats why MOST scientists agree we have to do something now

Do you not understand this or something? The "Greenhouse" is caused by CO2 emissions. After the Clean Air Act apparently things got a lot better fast. Thus, we know things can be easilly reversed if we do one solid movement. The rise will be gradual, we wont even have to wait for beaches to flood, a foot or two is more than enough to go on and we can then quickly reverse the problem as easy as we got ourselves into it.

So, even if your theory is correct, we'd be perfectly fine. And that's probably what we're going to have happen with the way things are going.

Also it's not Most. Sure most agree that the Earth is warming, but not even 40% believe it's even mostly human based, let alone entirly human based. So maybe 20% believe we need to do something now.

I would say there isn't a credible scientist out there that doesn't believe that we are negatively affecting our environment. The question is to which degree we are effecting it, and there is debate there. I haven't read anything since the 90s that seriously debated the question of global warming.

And you're right, by the time serious environmental affects are shown it is already to late. By that time there would be too much Co2 or CH4 (the #1 greenhouse gas, not Co2) in the atmosphere for us to be able to reverse the trend. It's not as if, if we stop polluting, the current air pollution will just dissolve. What we've put into the atmosphere is there to stay unfortunately.

He basiclly said you were kinda sorta right, that he couldn't debate it because he's outdated, and that if the circumstances you stated were correct, then you'd be right.

The second part was based in the circumstances you believe will happen. As I said.

The 2nd half isn't predicated on anything. What we put in the atmosphere is there to stay. As emissions levels have increased near exponentially in the past 150 years, the temperature has risen at a much higher rate then ever before. Those are all facts. How much we contributed to that is up to scientific conjecture, but no one who has any sort of scientific knowledge is saying were not making it worse. If we wait to address the issue it will be to late because the damage would already be done, it would just be a matter of time before the environment catches up to the pollution in the atmosphere.
