I only found his videos recently, since he started the minecraft ones. So only a few months. But I still find him hilarious even though your right, and he can be a bit condesending.
he seems like a genuinly nice bloke, thats why i like him. Some of his commentaries are a bit deep, but thats sort of the appeal of him also his randomness
I'd love to have a beer with him, I know it will never happen because I live half the world away but oh well.
I watch phantom Savage because hes so funny. [yt:3e82rmq5]y9UBxHfZ9AU[/yt:3e82rmq5] You will love his screams. Skip to 4:30 to hear screams.
Besides Stalin my subscription list atm (for gaming channels) is pretty much this jefmajor Toegoff Squee913 JohnnyKnodoff Helloween4545 Mangaminx and PrinceofMacedon
The Freestyle Folklore video was the first vid of SeaNanners that I had ever seen, and I was laughing for like 10 minutes afterwards. In not any order, here are some of my favorite LPers and descriptions/reasons why I chose them. Chuggaconroy- An all around funny guy who plays various Nintendo games and puts a great amount of quality into each and every one of his videos. Probably one of the best known Let's Players out there. And I like watching TheRunawayGuys. JosefVStalin- Like I need to tell you about the Glorious Leader of All Things. raocow- A recently 28 year old French-Canadian who plays Super Mario World ROM Hacks, and sometimes other games if he feels like it. He has about the same amount of subscribers as JVS does. His personality is just amazing because of all the random, funny stuff that he says in his videos, and makes himself famous for his raocow-isms. And if you think Seananners is random, you obviously have not watched raocow. It seems like he has 0 haters on his videos, which shows just how awesome he is. Chainfire9001- This is pretty much a dead channel because he had to take a leave of absence to deal with stuff in real life. Also a player of Mario ROM hacks, although he has a much smaller fan base than raocow. He was very calm and had an interesting personality, and he is definitely someone worth checking out his past videos. But my number one most favorite Let's Player of all time is without a doubt Bonecanoe86. Probably some of the first videos I ever watched, I have been with his channel all the way from about when he had 300 subscribers up until today. He has introduced me to chainfire, raocow, and JVS. He plays strategy, simulation, and platformer games all of which I really like. He started his own forum in the style of raocow's forum. Bonecanoe's forum is titled The House of Sim, which you can visit by clicking here. I have been a member there since day one and, despite it being a small community, I have met some really awesome people, a lot of which whose LPs I enjoy, including TheCatinTheShadows, Alameachan, and even our own UnitRico. It is at the House of Sim where I found the courage to start my own LPs. Bonecanoe making this forum has done a lot for me, and today I am really good friends with him. That is why he is my favorite LPer. Bonecanoe the Magnif, if you see this, well then thats pretty cool! Oh man, that is a lot of words!
Top 5 LPers Click a name to be taken to their channel. 1. Josef V. Stalin - My favorite LPer, I think he's hilarious and extremely entertaining, as well he seems rather genuinely interested in the LPing community that follows him. 2. GetDaved - First guy I ever saw doing LPs, I think he's pretty awesome. He's done quite a variety of games, but mostly 4X and RPGs. He's currently doing an LP of KOTOR. 3. EugeneofSavoy18 - He's a relative newcomer on Youtube, but he's got some really awesome LPs up already, especially his EU3 ones. He's currently doing an LP of Divine Wind as Novgorod and an LP of N:TW as Spain. 4. Jefmajor - This guy is pretty hilarious; my favorite LP of his so far is the Bridge It series, which although centered on what is essentially a tech demo, is some of the funniest stuff I've seen. He's currently doing LPs of Soldier of Fortune II, random indie games, and random Nintendo games. 5. PlumpHelmetPunk - Highly entertaining guy; he tends to be a bit more on the storytelling side of Let's Playing, rather than traditional commentator. Still he's pretty funny and his Dwarf Fortress LPs are probably the best on Youtube. He's currently doing an LP of Dwarf Fortress, as well as occasionally throwing in a rougelike. NOTE: Watch his intro video to get an idea of what his LPs are like. Honorable Mention quill18 - He is pretty awesome; usually does a tutorial alongside his LPs. Currently doing an LP of Civ 5 on a giant earth map, as well as Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. TheBlackworth - He's apparently like ex-Russian military or something but all I know is that he's quite hilarious during his commentary of any one of the random games he plays. Probably best known for his ARMA 2 LPs, he's currently doing a Dwarf Fortress LP, an ARMA 2 LP, and is planning an HOI3 LP.
