Did you even read my post? I actually liked him when he was a mod. He was, in my opinion, the people's mod.
If you were right wing, and fit his specific category of a tolerable person, then yar, he could be pretty good mod to you. If you were to ask the many people who specifically left because of him, they would beg to differ. Even the other mods described him as an 'Intellectually dishonest bully'.
And? I gave a fairly unbiased and good summary of what he did as a mod, how he acted, why he came back, and what he did when he came back. I'd like to mention I actually had great fun writing that, as his "story", if you will, was full of drama and is quite interesting. Who did he force to leave? And he was the mod that was always pushing for reforms that benefited people as a whole, not just his "right wing" cronies. By the way, Kali is center, not right wing. He's a democrat, if I remember correctly. He just hates socialists.
None of the other mods 'openly hated me'. All of them said agreed that I was fair in judgement, the problems some had with me had to do with the way I argue. There was never a situation where the political affiliation of a member had any bearing in their punishment, with the exception of Che, and that's because he was banned for hate speech after several warnings prior. Every mod and former nod can attest to that. Also, Kara, if anything it's the opposite: 'nice mod, mean person.' @DukeofAwesome If your post was deleted, then it was deleted for violating at least part of the posting guidelines. Bad grammar alone wasn't justification for post deletion.
I have to ask again, did you even read the short summary? For goodness sake. And if anything it was biased more towards him then against him.
Ughhh whatever. I could have painted him in a much worse light, as Ler did but I'm not going to because I actually did like him as a mod. Instead, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I'm actually going to go against Ler on this one. He wasn't a bad mod, and he wasn't despised by the forums in general. He was despised by a small bunch of people that were trying to fight "mod corruption" and constantly attacked the mods. Ironically, Kali became the center of this group when he came back.
These things were usually deleted en masse, and the rule was designed not to purge the forum of linguistic incompetence, but to give people an incentive to post correctly, by making guidelines-violating posts only susceptible for deletion. Of course the obvious side-effect is that it makes members totally responsible and accountable for whatever they did wrong.
To be quite honest I don't give enough of a shit about this place to actively go out and learn all the forum lore that seems to have accumulated over the years. Just want to keep it all at arms length and not be sucked into all the adolescent drama that goes on around here.
