Official Apology to Kobashenka

Yep, he got his account deleted.

Which apparently means his IP no longer shows up on record for the Mods and Admins and all that shit. So he can come back at any time. Although this is no reason to search for and accuse new members of being multis. If you suspect one is a multi, leave it alone, it's fine. Unless of course, it is really freaking obvious, and of course I'm talking about Napoleon. We've got detecting his multi's down to an art.

But anyway, let's just accept others onto this forum regardless of whether they are a multi or not, it is quite fine, it's not going to do any good to the site or the people on it if you drive them away. And if it turns out a mod checked out the IP and confirmed it was a multi, so be it, thus will end another chapter in a banned users life on the forums.

Multi accounts are bannable, regardless of whose it is, or what they're doing.

Well, as with me, Matt doesn't have an original account anymore. His creating a new one doesn't constitute multi-accounting. Of course, Matt also isn't this person, and it'd be ridiculous to think that he was.

Fred was saying that if there was a multi, and it wasn't hurting anyone, we should leave it alone

Not necessarily all of us, but the ones who don't have the means to look into it should just accept the new member, greet him or her with respect and if it is a multi, don't care about that particular multi any more.

Serious about the "no idea whats going on" bit though, can someone explain?

New member, apparently a RL friend of some of the members here, got upset and someone deleted a post on her introduction thread. People thought our new member, Kobashenka, was a MatthewChris multi (Former mod who left) mostly because of the whole Jewish thing and her using the word "G-d" like so, as Matt often did.

And thus, the creation of this thread.

I guess the thing we can learn out of this is that you shouldn't make intro threads.

No, Kobashenka did nothing wrong. We all should have learned from this long ago.

I still suggest what I wrote earlier on this page.

What I mean by that is that every time someone makes an intro thread, the accusation of them being a multi always happens. But yes, I do agree that we should not be such assholes to every new member.

Also matt was a great fellow. I have always been friends with himand still are. I hate that he is now being compaired to Che and Naploeon for he did nothing wrong, he was a respected member of the community and we had no proof he lied about his location which is hardly a big deal at all.

Nobody is doing such things.

In fact, I am lying about my location as well, obviously...

Indeed. His mod status was suspended so that stuff could be clarified, but then he left of his own accord.

I think we're debating how despicable and unnecessary Stalin's actions were after he already apologized for doing it. I would encourage people to get more on topic if this weren't the second time he's done this. I don't know why Stalin has this strange paranoia about the forum but it drove away one member and it nearly got a second. I hope this apology isn't empty and he'll stop doing this to members.

Not exactly. You can be banned for making a muti-account if I am not mistaken, but he could get away with it, maybe.

No one is perfect Stalin, when you make a mistake learn from that mistake and never do it again.
