    When did this happen? Link please?
    Yay, now you're using the straw-man fallacy instead of an actual argument!
    Are you fucking kidding me? That happens at tons of protests, not just this one. It happens at teachers strikes, tea-party rallies, ect. You can even see it in some of the old footage of the black rights protesters. Really authoritarian right?
    I fixed this part for you, now it's correct.
    Gee, it's a recession catalyzed by a housing bust as a result of banks mishandling mortgages, and worsened by the outsourcing of jobs to third world countries, I wonder why they're mad at big business?
    Well they're not in the top 1% of the richest people, so yes they are the 99%

    You didn t do nothing, Tito.

    [IMG]

    About the death threats, there is this: "Time to kill the wealthy."

    And also this message was received by State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos : “It’s time to tax the millionaires! If you don’t, I’m going to pay a visit with my carbine to one of those tech companies you are so proud of and shoot every spoiled Ivy League [expletive] I can find.”

    Or something like this: [IMG]

    And of coruse there is the image of the "decapitation" of Goldman Sacks. And in New Orleans people who were friendly with the movement shouted "kill the cops!" And no, they are not the 99%. And stop acting like a baby, because it was not only Bush policies, it is also Obama´s policies who casued the economic problems.

    Good, I want more class warfare. People should be mad at all of the capitalist class, that includes obama.

    Yeah bro. Let's cause suffering because I want to see my own beliefs fulfilled!

    Seems a bit selfish.

    Let's wipe our asses on police cars and then scream and cry when we get pushed away by them and claim it's "brutality". Let's also contradict our beliefs every step of the way by encouraging the brutal killings of the bourgeois fascists.

    Define suffering. If making death threats is suffering, then thats pretty broad.

    From what I can tell, you want to incite violence in order to achieve your ideological paradise.

    I would say inciting violence might just cause suffering.

    Lol. First it's the corporations, the banks, and now the wealthy in general? The wealthy aren't your enemy. They're just people who understand the system, and knew how to put a idea into practice. Or they were born to someone like that.

    No one is as exploited as the SUV driving, coffee sipping, middle class American. Wealthy people should be ashamed of themselves for being intelligent enough to come up with a good idea and execute it.

    The entire capitalist class is based off surplus labor. Just because first world proles have it relatively well compared to the impoverished third world doesnt mean anything. Anyway there is a sizable amount of people in relative poverty in the first world, and plenty of unemployed folks.

    A good amount of first world poverty has nothing to do with the economy, but rather people giving up, or lacking drive. I'd be curious to see how many people under the poverty line graduated high school, or applied for a scholarship. I doubt it's very high. Most of the rest is the result of a recession, which always drives up unemployment.

    So much ignorant bullshit from the lot of you.

    I consider you a pretty intelligent guy, but did you actually think this one through before typing it?

    Its not as black and white as you make it out to be.
    My mother for instance is a law school graduate. No job.
    My father has a Journey Man's electrician's license. No job.
    My aunt is a medical school graduate. No job.

    Shall I continue or do you intend to stereotype all those unemployed and in what the American government classify as poverty as "lazy" or "unintelligent" even though you yourself don't live here?

    @Lenin Cat
    The LAST thing this movement needs is a bunch of violent fanatics.

    @crocve
    You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

    Yeah, I did. I explain this more below.

    It's anything but black and white. All of those people fall safely into the category of skilled but unemployed labor. It's a shame they're jobless, and reflects poorly upon the businesses (in times like this, they hire less skilled and cheaper labor, which is wrong) of any country. But in standard times, they luckily aren't the majority of impoverished people, and when the economy is in full swing, they usually have well paying jobs.

    I didn't stereotype the unemployed to be lazy, or unintelligent. In fact, quite the opposite. A good amount of skilled labor is currently unemployed as a result of the recession, rather than the evils of capitalist oppression, like Lenin Cat is suggesting. What I'm saying is that far too much of first world poverty are simply unmotivated people, and that people who do work hard, and got a education, like your family, are forced to compensate for them, which isn't right. I will always lend a hand to those in need, but not those who have no desire for education or self improvement.

    Perhaps I worded it incorrectly, but I think we are on different pages here.

    You do realise that the problems that effect that are social problems. Society in first world countries is fucked.

    Looks like it. Though I would suggest you think a bit more on that whole "poverty not connected with the state of the economy" thing.
