Moral of the story- When a creepy old man who spends his days listening on secret military broadcasts and tells you to get in the metro, you get to the fucking metro.
I'm not sure that's how the storyline goes. There are some really interesting books on Metro (I don't think they're in English, however) that will clarify the story. I don't have the books, but it's not a hunch, there is definately an alternate history scenario here.
Basically that baby was the guy u played in metro 2033 there was nuclear war in 2013, and then these mutants and creatures called dark ones appeared who actually are for good. U cant Iive above ground, and there is a resurgence of communist and nazis. All underground
I think the best thing about this was I unwillingly watched it on YouTube. They gave a four minute advert and I didn't skip it; that's got to be pretty awesome!
There was a book called Metro 2034, and its author is working with the creators of this game. BUT, apparently the game and the book are not similar except for the setting.
That's how I found it actually, but I had Adblock activated for YouTube and it gave me an advert anyway. I guess Google Chrome knows exactly what adverts I want to see.
I do, it's fun but not worth the money. It's short and linear, no replay value. Othervise it is actually a good game.
Yeah, that was the problem with Metro, a story that spanned about the same time as any Call of Duty game. I played through it a lot, but it became too boring. The developers of Metro: Last Light can do this with their game, I won't mind, so long as there is a multiplayer feature of any kind.
What would be cool is like a racing mini-game where you try to shoot the other 3 people on there cart or something.
