I think you unveiled the debate thread the wrong way. You should have had an interesting debate start right out of the gate but now its stalled and made it look like the people who wanted the debate thread in the first place are apathetic about it and don't care enough to keep it going.

So because the Modship went ahead and created something without even bothering to ask the people it now has every justification to remain?

And how exactly does this adversely affect the people in any way? We didn't need to because it's just another forum subsection. If you don't care for it, ignore it and it wont affect you at all.

How does this affect you? You dont HAVE to go on it you know. Just ignore it if you dont like it like I do.

We certainly don't have to consult the people before creating a forum subsection as it is something you have to choose to participate in for it to have any affect on you, unlike things like rules.

Then why didn't you create that fellow's food subsection? After all, it's total choice to go on.

Therefore, it may affect peoples judgement towards certain mods and then we have a shit-throw extravaganza and everyone gets pissed off.

Look guys, it's not a huge deal. I just don't want to see a part of the forum go unused. I think a good solution would be to have someone who is in charge of Mano-a-Mano, to make sure it is run efficiently. And maybe the changes to the site will help it get back.

Console and portable gaming. They're almost never used. xD I think this will have more use than those. Though to be honest it was briefly discussed to just combine the portable and console forums with PC gaming and just have a gaming forum.

all the off-topic subjects except for the main one are pretty much deserted compared to the other areas of the forum.

the new thread just scares people away with Kali's complicated rules.

There's a far greater interest in my Victoria II mod than the entire lesser Off-Topic forum.

The rules aren't bad. I just think that since there is no real unifying force, most people don't wanna put much time in it.
