I think it would be pretty cool to have a gang of female bodyguards like Gaddafi's Amizonian Guard(although they have all taken a pledge of virginity, I guess it makes them more effective then his Slut Squad)

I wonder how this wars going to fold out. Wouldn't it be great if Qaddafi's forces pushed back the Rebels to Benghazi or even Tobruk. Totally screw up America's/NATO plans off retrieving that country. We obviously know the Rebels won't get a slice of the cake if US/NATO managed to successfully take down Qaddafi's regime.

No wit's down to when Gaddafi's forces run out of supplies and ammunition. Also maybe the war would go better if people could decide on how to spell his name.

I don't care to be honest. I use G or Q for his name. It just sounds the same when you pronounce his name with the G or Q.

They won't lose supplies and ammunition. They've got the core of the army, and i expect them to survive on enough ammunition. On the other hand. The Rebel faction is more likely to run out of supplies and ammunition.

Not really, America and NATO can just keep supplying them and supplying them. But again all that is doing is putting the rebels more in debt to NATO and giving more power to NATO and America. IF NATO wins, Libya is just going to be another Serbia controlled by NATO.

Also Libya's not going to run out of munitions any time soon, they have been stockpiling since the cold war...

Actually Qatar is supplying with everything they need as long as they promise to give them oil when the country stops being a warzone.

A bloody tyrant, a hand full of theocratic militants, and oil hungry NATO commanders.
Wow, who the hell wants to side with any of them?

I say we just quit the war. Everyone, as a matter of fact.

Oil will take a hit, but we can just let them kill each other, and duke it out by themselves >.>

Gaddafi would win and the US does not want that because Gaddafi has made it clear that from now on he will only be selling oil to Russia, India and China (and a few other Eastern Nations) without the need to bid.

you do realize that he sells mostly to Europe, right?

Not to mentoin, Gaddafi wouldn't win. Even if no one became involved, the rebels have momentum, public support, and probably more soldiers by now. But most likely, a truce would come out, and we would see something like a Stalemated civil war. Republic of Libya, and Libya :p

What part of "Gaddafi has made it clear" do you not understand? .....

Also do you think this is like Egypt at all? The entire country is not in support of the rebels are, Eastern Libya is, not Western. Not only does Gaddafi have the support of Western Libya, but he has an army. Without NATO and American/French support the Rebels would have fallen by now.

havnt I scene this same argument 45 pages ago?

Also, Misrata has broken the seige and has done the imposible. Also, the UNITED NATIONS human rights groupd, not a puppet of the USA as it has equal representation from Russia and China, has said they have evidence that Gadafi has commited human rights abuses. With the footage I have scene of misrata, compared to tripoly, I have concluded again gadafi must go at any cost. NATO did not do much dammage to Tripoly while Misrata was completely devistated. One man on camera said he wants Gadafi dead for the death of his 3 year old daughter, pauses for a moment, and changes his mind and says he should be brought in front of a court insted.
