    Even a nation decides in a popular effort to remain socialist and to remain with Gaddafi the West decides what is right for them. It is disgusting, all we can hope for is death for every foreign soldier that steps on Libyan land.

    With all the people that rose up in militias to fight against these revolter's you can expect double, if not triple to rise up against direct American Imperialism.

    What I find most ironic is that only hours after Gaddafi said that he did not trust the west anymore, and would not be selling them anymore oil, and employed Russia, China and India to fill the gap, the invasion starts.

    Ground troops are already on Libyan land. They are also not allowed to get involved unless it is a war between two or more nations, which it is not. But you see, the UN looks out for the interests of the West if you have no realized this yet....

    Gaddafi his supporters and Socialism were winning in Libya, you do realize this right? Even if America places another puppet regime, like that of their previous "humanitarian" invasions, they will be in for another long, bloody never ending war against the people and against Gaddafi's many supporters.

    Gaddafi is supported by mercs who only do it for money and the people shall lead the country they won't install anyone. People who support Gaddafi want death to the people. I can't wait till the likely execution of Gaddafi by the people.

    Why do you support it? Can you not see the reason that people decided to rebel against an oppressive rule? Or do you believe that Tunisia was some attempt to destabilize the Arab world so that America could place a puppet regime in Libya. I mean seriously, come one. The events of this year have evidently been the most turbulent 2 and a half months in history, at least in the Arab world.

    The other Revolutions in the Arab world were real. They were nations that had American puppet governments in place. Libya is a socialist nation that is not an American puppet government. For years now America has been trying to start revolts in Libya to destabilize it.

    Honestly, though I don't agree with Che's reasons, I agree that the resolution is a total overreach of UN power. In the past civil wars have been dealt with as an issue of nat-sov, and the only times that the UN is supposed to intervene are in cases of proven genocide (and even then it's not necessarily a legal action). The way they're skirting the issue is the same way they skirted the issue on the Balkans and Korea; not calling it war, but rather some sort of police action. In this case it's setting up a no-fly zone, "and other measures." Seems like BS to me. But at least it's multilateral BS...

    Yeah, I disagree with this resolution as well, this is just picking sides in a civil war that has nothing to do with us. (Why are the rebels still considered civilians? They're armed). I'm really surprised China or Russia did not use their veto powers in this case.

    the problem is that Gaddafi is not just bombing the rebels but also the cities they occupy which have innocent civilians in them. just because the rebels occupy a city doesnt mean that EVERYONE in that city is a rebel. i do not believe in armed intervention but this no fly zone is a good idea
