Also Egypt I suggest reading the rules, because you broke them several times today. A lot of other sites would have banned you easily for what you were saying against the mods, just saying, we're a lot fairer here than a lot of places.

Wasn't a joke. But keep on laughing and ignore the rules, it wont help when you get in trouble for breaking them. A lot of sites I have been on would have banned you in an instant, fact.

This isn't an issue of "we're better than them so deal with it because you have it good" if the mods are actually insulting people this need to be stopped, Che is a good exaple of this. Just because you are insulted doesn't give you the right to push back.

If it is reported as an insult it will be dealt with. You misunderstand my point to a degree. He is making us out to be oh so horrible and unfair when the cases of it are few and I spoke with Lucy about it when it possibly crossed the line, so I am giving my point.

I think people hesitate to report a mod because they are a mod. and should this thread get moved to the peoples assembly?

Che is the only case I can think of and he never reported anything. I highly doubt it was because of being mods, he didn't report other users either.

I've seen insults dealt to Kara and TacoTruck by mods also go unreported, This might be purely coincidental. I could start calling people sacks of shit get away with it for a while.

Whatever, I'm tired of this bullshit. This is nothing but a user breaking the rules by insulting someone repeatedly and then complaining about staff. The original point of this thread, an ignore button has been dealt with. There really aren't that many cases of mods going over the line like this and if they do just report them, simple as that. We will deal with it if it's reported by the insulted user, even if it's not we may still discuss it.

Since everyone one else seems to be treading the line here, I guess I will be the one to cross it.

First off, no, you can't make a mod a foe. For reasons already stated above, it would interfere with our ability to actually moderate.

As for you saying we aren't model members, I disagree. 99% of the time, our mods are upstanding members, and I think they are all good people. Do we like to have fun with the community? Yes. Do we occasionally troll? I know I do, and I do a pretty shitty job of it as well. But I find it moderately amusing, and no one comes out any worse for it. It's just a way to blow off a little steam. We are only human.

As for the Che issue, I guess you were pointing to me, as I did indeed say it would probably be best if he left. But, I meant that, and I won't take it back. I tried cool things down with him multiple times, but that was just me doing my best to save things before they really boiled over, which they unfortunately did. Not a big deal though, and once again, no one made a issue out of it, and many shared the same feeling.

Now, moving on to you. Here is my issue. You have done three things on this forum. You call people racist, try to white knight various issues, and take issue with the administration of the site. Yet you have the audacity to call us out? To be honest, I don't find your complaints worrying at all, considering how little good you have contributed to the community. But Toast is different. Say what you will about his post content, but I would say he is exactly the kind of member I want around here. He posts frequently, he makes me chuckle, and he doesn't break any rules, even when he may be wronged. The fact that he isn't happy with the way things are going worries me (and I would be very grateful if he would PM me with the issues he had so I could bring them up), and I want to do my best to ensure the site is up to code for him and all members. But when someone who does so little calls people out without even making clear what his issue is (or how we could fix it), that bugs me a little.

I'm not exactly sure about that. All he did here was complain about me hypocritical and not being mature enough for the way I acted towards EP. I am not going to break the rules but I am not going to be nice to you if you insult my friends, period.

Lucy is my friend as well, but I can't shout down any complaint, no matter it's legitimacy. So, I would be willing to hear EP out, but he hasn't give me much to work with, and he certainly hasn't done anything to earn my respect. As for Toast, I think he may actually have something useful to say, but I don't think anyone has been willing to hear him out. I for one am interested what he has to say, and it's unfortunate that sometimes legitimate complaints get swept up by the loads of incompetency and insults we have to deal with. Not to mention the unfavorable atmosphere that we have, especially when it comes to speaking against the mods. I wish people like Toast would speak up more, and give us some legitimate points to work with, and that way, both sides would be much happier as we work together instead of having to shoot down tons of silly proposals. Thus, the atmosphere would be improved, and I think everyone would be happier as a member and with their moderators.

I shot down him calling Lucy stupid right and left and saying that if we couldn't add an ignore button that he would have to leave so she didn't cause him to lose any more brain cells. I'm not willing to hear that out.

I don't like hearing that either, but unfortunately, I do think we at least should try. If he doesn't want to use any sort of tact, it's a shame, but lets not stoop to his level. Let's just keep the conversation going, and if he wants to act in such a way, that will just make his complaint look even less legitimate. So be it.

@Lucy I have seen the topics in question, and know that he isn't exactly a pleasant person to debate with. I will judge him a a person, and may take his complaints less seriously because of that, but if the complaint is valid, it will push through and cause change, no matter peoples personal opinions.

I hardly stooped to his level. Where did I call him a moron, said he couldn't be older than 10 and said he was causing me to lose brain cells? Where did I say anything like that? I simply responded to his comment that he would have to leave before he lost any more brain cells because of her that he should just GTFO then. I don't at all regret saying it either.

You misunderstand me. I never said you stooped to his level. I just don't think we should completely shoot anyone down, but rather dismantle their argument, which seems to have mostly been done. At this point I am mostly just interested in what Toast has to say, or what he thinks we should change. He has been bringing this up for a while, and I think he needs to be heard.

You know what, when Che wishes for your death on multiple occasions, says he wants to have you lined up and shot multiple times, calls everybody on the forum who doesnt agree with him a fucking retard, spews hate in every fucking sentence he says, then you will eventually lose your cool.
