I watched some of his Empire: Total War LPs, and didn't think much of him past those, until I found his CoJ LP, and then I got more interested in his videos. I didn't know he had a site until I saw his EUIII LP, and I think spoke about starting his site in that, so I decided to check it out.
And I've been the star of these forums ever since.

Haha. Sounds like Stalin. At first I thought he had this name for satire. Hell, was I surprised.

I discovered Stalin months before he made his site. I was looking for LPs of Empire: TW and liked his. Then I started watching his other videos, subscribed, and migrated here when he left YouTube to form this website.

I remember looking at Rise of nations videos, then I came across the very first 'Let's play' I have ever saw in my life. I watched Stalin's LP of Rise of Nations and the rest is history.

I found him because of Prince of Macedon, but not like a link, or a collaboration. I just found out about Napoleon: Total War from him, and wanted an actual lets play of it, not just multiplayer battles. And then I saw Stalin's let's play, and I was scared off at first, because of his theme music, but I watched it, and enjoyed it, so I started watching his other videos. I joined the site back when Stalin did the Grim Fandango let's play.

I just want to point out that Stalin was the very first lets-player I ever followed. Actually, now that I think of it the only reason I created a youtube account was to subscribe. And then I kept on being tempted by the upload button and now I do lets plays of my own :D
Although I haven't finished any...or done any for the past like 4 months....fucking school.

My First Stalin LP Was Stalins First LP, Empire Total War : Maratha. I think around then he only had a dozen subscribers at the time.

Now, you've been a long-time Stalin viewer if you know where this quote is from: "The Doorknobs are apperently the Next Sentient Species to stand amongst Humans, pretty soon they'll start mating and create a new race of Superdoors... Suck it dolphins" -JosefVStalin

When Stalin Started SotS, my face lit up from the nostagia of taking down them Dolphins once more. Only back then we didnt have any badass Dutch Dinosaurs to nom on fresh Dolphin Meat.

His anti drug video, I agreed with him and liked his voice, so I subscribed. He then started making Let's Plays and we all know how it went from there.

The funny part is, when I first saw that video, I agreed with it as well.
