That shit wasn't biased towards anybody. The fact that it was only a 5v5 simulation pretty much eliminates any leadership "x-factors" any of them had. Let's be honest, in 5v5, Washington has an advantage. Washington himself is a physically imposing figure, especially against Napoleon. All of their soldiers' weapons aren't designed at-all to fire accurately at a single target, except for the Rifle that Washington's soldiers had.
That's why I said I could understand him killing Napoleon, but at the time they'd never fight in a 5vs5, they'd make a duel, with pistols and/or swords.
very true, NKSF have a very out dated stock of weapons and the Rangers are...well their fraking rangers.
I was Upset at this Show when Apaches couldn't kill that freakin Gladiator!! Then a Ninja could not kill a Single Spartan And i just RAGED!!!! When the Atec warrior couldnt beat a Zande warrior. but i still watch it for the weapons and Analysis I tune off when the final battle starts though.
Spartan Vs Ninja: By far spartan wins, no doubt about that. The who point of the show is the end, lol.
God this show is bad.... watching the SS v the Viet Cong... Let's get 2 "experts together" per side, that borderline have any idea what they're talking about. Let's pick 3 or 4 random weapons that the side isn't even known for and do random ballistics tests that have no bearing on actual combat scenarios... Can't wait to see the "battle" lulz
I think it's cute when they shoot and slice through the pigs. Totally reflects upon the actual usage of the weapon in a combat situation.
I hated the doctor dude. You don't need a fucking medical degree to tell that a dude dies when they get an arrow through the eye!
There was an episode before the SS vs. Vietcong one that had the buff engineer dude doing the medical assessments. He was a former paramedic. So why can't he just do the medical assessments?
Okay this Washington v Napoleon is even worse.... So they test the artillery. Armies were using the same pieces and tactics Napoleon developed well into the 1870s. Hell they even called it the Napoleon gun here in the states.... Napoleon pioneered the technique of skipping rounds off of the ground to cause maximum damage, something the show neglected to test. Thankfully they at least gave Napoleon the edge. Next, they test the muskets. they assume every french unit and every American unit was equipped the same. They loop in the Pennsylvania riffle into the general ranks of the continental army, not entirely accurate considering riffled units were placed into their own riffle regiments, and didn't generally fight alongside the regulars. They noted that it took their testers twice as long to knock out the targets as Napoleons men, but still gave Washington the edge because they managed to take out the moving target. Here's how warfare worked in both scenarios - you line up your troops and mass fire against a line of your enemy. The ability to accurately fire is fairly useless, and it's all about volume of fire. There is no way Napoleon would loose this one. You can look at any heads up battle against the British and Americans, and you can see the Americans were no match. Next they talk about tactics. They emphasize guerrilla warfare in the case of Washington. Washington commanded the continental army. He didn't command the guerrilla units, why are they in play here? OMFG..... they gave generalship to Washington? Where did I put my whiskey? Finally they talk about swords. The Americans didn't even have Calvary units!!!! Why the hell are they even evaluating this?!?!?!?! The French had the best horses and Calvary units in the world at the time. I'm becoming angered.
They Ignore alot of things, next match up should be better, (considering you didn't watched the new ranger vs nksof, "which I didn't like the results") Anyways Hannibal vs Genghis Khan. And I think Deadliest Warrior is now Deadliest General considering, I don't see any plausible 1 v 1 fights in the upcoming matchups..
First they just statistically calculated all that crap into one particular fixed engagement, no motive, no morale, no tactics, no timespan of operation, shit all, and told us who is better, all bunk, now they said that their using battle strategies, but all they did was at more simplistic mathematical shit to it, still bunk, Washington wouldn't beat Napoleon unless they have portrayed that we're at the epilogue of the entire war that would happen
It is inaccurate but I think the show had a lot of potential that they have squandered. The new season seems to be a little better because that at least do the same tests for the weapons in the catagory.
Right now, Che would be outrageously spouting words like "organization" and "discipline" and linking a Youtube video of a North Korean military parade as an example. Combat experience alone pretty much guaranteed the Ranger would win. Has the NKSF EVER been deployed or ever seen actual combat?
