Tasteless and Artosis's job with GOMTv is their primary occupation. Artosis is playing competitively again, but he's not very good yet. Unless he gets a salary from Sixjax or something, I would say casting is his primary ocupation.

This is totally far fetched and all but let's say this bill gets passed, which it won't, Stalin may need a backup website. Prepare for the worst in my opinion.

It never fails to amaze me how many times the government focuses on ridiculous things such as this when there are more important things with much larger implications to be dealing with. In any case, its not like they'll be able to enforce it.

if this is passed then alot of businesses will lose money. The big companies wont lose money, but small indie companies would never get noticed.

Like minecraft, its only as successful as it is because of the internet and those who streamed the game. Without the internet, absolutely no-one would have heard of the game.

All they have to do is have a different policy on game footage like just put in their legal stuff you are free to stream and post videos about this game as long as credit is given.

No, that's not true at all. This would make it a federal law, so it would be outside the boundaries of civil law.

Not quite how the criminal / Civil law system works...

Chris smoove (surprising I know) actually does a good job summarizing a lot of the key aspects (skip to like 1:24)

Why do people treat the bill like it's nothing? Even if it won't pass, people should take it a little bit seriously.
