As Philips walked in the Crobart parliament he sees two guards taking away emperor Dud.He reaches out for hiss trusty 357. and shoots the guards. "What have you got yourself into Dud?" "That coward just launched an attack on us!" "What? Who?" "Sly.He's in the parliament.We need to get out or kill him!"
One of Sly's guards was not dead and manages to limp in and warn Sly. He immediately hitches a ride to his top secret hideout.

So I guess I never read that. Anyway, we fight the underground defenses and in a couple of places they are breached but for the majority of the day there is a bloody underground battle being fought
Also how did you get the drilling equipment powerful enough to do an invasion because last time I checked there is none and don't say you developed it because your economy can't support that.
OOC:I agree with dud, also apperantly you launched an assult on half his erea WTF usaly you assult the borders first and attack inwards, usaly you cant just get youre troops over half his country. The head jarl of the vikingar decides to support Dud in this war, mainly through reinforcing his armies, with well trained warriors, he will wait a bit before he starts his own front, with his new secret wepon (look a few postes back).
Philips flies back to the covenant mountain where his guards and militia are defending against the Crobart attackers. He leads a militia army and two ranger divisions to defend the mountain.After hours of fighting the Crobart forces fall back to the outskirts of the destroyed city of Denver.A counter offensive is launched but the enemy fortifies some buildings that are hard to capture so the fighting continues.
For rescuing the emperor, Philips is promoted by Emperor Extraneus to Field Marshall of the Task Force 23, an elite unit of zealots and Operatives established for Infiltration and Inside-Invasion. The Covenant Mountain is fortified and ready as soon as the declaration of war was stated. The underground facilities have been reinforced with more zealots. The nukes have been armed and readied in case of being overwhelmed. Bio-Shock Troops have reinforced the front lines. Onager-tanks have been deployed. The old air base I captured is going to supply me jets and helicopters. Meanwhile... At the research bay, scientists have been tasked of making a new tank to support the Onager-class tank that was developed by the Covenant. It would take months but they are well funded and should finish it thoroughly. New artillery shells are being produced. We will do what it takes to win.

Advanced armour was made out of them, his mele troops would no longer get shoot to pieces at range, assult rifles were now standard issue to every one. but the gem of his army was the fully functional frigate that had been discovered in the base (notice how i didn't god mod by saing destroyer or aircraft carrier), along with some CROWS II.

Then the special ops moved into sly's lands rounding up citizens outside main cities and taking them to the closest city. Next trenches were made around them and taken up by mutants prepared to die for the innocent.
