Approaching the city, it is found to be inhabited. Here in northern Europe the bombs have fallen less heavily and much of the city remains standing. It has been populated by many years and the City of New Edin controls much of the surrounding countryside. The Lord Emperor approaches the city council and makes an impassioned speech to the citys citizens and elders. Speaking of the Unification of Humanity under one banner the charismatic leader convinces the City state to join in the Lord's cause. (Presumably the large, well-equipped army aided in their deliberations as well.) Immediatly a massive reorganisation begins. Using what little of the cities industry survived or was salvage the Imperial scientests and engineers set about crwating massive construction facilities, arming the new regiments raised from the city while the Lord Emperor marches west, to the Second City, the citizens of New Edin report that the City once called Glasgow has become a great power and New Edin was bound in fealty to it, the master of The Great Glasgow will soon hear of their treachary, and words alone may not convince their armies.
New reports came in of missing patrols found cut in half.The government sent out an elite zealot squad to investigate.The team was successful with capturing one and killing the rest of the attackers. Turns out all the attacks were made by them.The attackers were forrest tribals who had some kind of potion or syrume that was made from mutated trees and snake poison.This let them take twice as much pain and made them stronger.An army was sent in to deal with the tribal scum. two villages were found and exterminated.The syrums and seeds of the mutant trees were taken to denver for development and analysation.

Meanwhile, I meet with Surfusa to repair a communications satellite outpost I found in the mountains. To 36th Zealot Shock Army, invade and capture the tribals. Don't spare those who fights back.
As the Unification Army approaches Falkirk it meets with the Grand Host of Glasgow. Clearly, the cities industry has either been repaired or remained intact. Many vehicles are in the host, the Unificationists have only light buggies. The Lord of Unity, as the people of New Edin declared him, asks for tals. He is refused and met with a heavy shell. When the dust clears he is miraculously unharmed, his Guard, now weapons lowered effect a fighting retreat, firing blasts of laser energy from their wrists. Both armies advance. The Battle of Fel Kirk is bloody. The Unification Army, though well equipped and trained has little combat experiance, the Glaswegians though ill-disciplined are battle hardened warriors. After many hundreds lie dead the advanced armour, weapons and communications of the Unificationists triumph. Entering the city of Glasgow the Charismatic leader is once again able to convince the populice, even if the former rulers must be executed there now another city under the control of the forces of unity. The lands once in fealty to Glasgow, from Galloay in the South to the bases of the Highlands is unified intot he new Empire of Unity. Great rebuilding is begun, crops are once agin planted and, far more importantly, as predicted the nearly completed form of an old world aircraft carrier is found in the Glaswegian docks: all but ready to sail. The Lords engineers expect operations restore in a matter of weeks. p.s. Sorry for the long posts, im trying to speed rush up to the Voyage across the Atlantic to bring the Empire into contact with the other nations.
The repairs to the satellite communication dish array is now being repaired. P.S. I'm trying to repair this so I can communicate with other nations.

Surfusa's scientists speed up the repairs but still they seem to be missing and reciever on both ends. As the satellite is launched into space, the mutants and Dud's men set up the first reciever. They waited for a response for hours, as they simply stared at the machine. After three days the mutants begin to get up as Dud's men eagerly watch the machine. Then there was a crackle of life from the machine...
The carrier was ready to launch. Later than expected, but the Lord coould fogive his engieneers; after all they had entirely replace the power supply with a scratch made hydrogen generator. In that time the Empire had expanded. Moving north they had captured a city now called Inness and Unified many other bunkers that were still to open. Horrors awaited inside some, in other new willing followers. To the South however, the Army of Unification had marched as far as the Old city of London. The earea was still heavily irradiated but HAZMAT teams were slowly reclaiming the city. Trade, from the cities of Newer Castle and The Great Pools (new castle and Liverpool ) had reached many nations. Some, such as the City State of The Great Dams had joined willingly. Others; like the Kingdom of Normandy had to convinced of the merts of unity. In Edinburgh the University had been reopened; new schools flurished. All was procceeding as planned, the army had even recovered a second carrier in Portsmouth, though currently innoperble. A large forced had assembled as the Carrier ISS Hopefull sailed out into the Clyde. On the bridge the Lord of Unity stared out to the West, wondering. Suddenly the Telecommunications officer reported a satelite uplink had been detected. Inquisitively he reached for the headset: "Is anyone still out there?"
"This is Bravo-Seven Comm Station, we can hear you but we still have static interruptions." "Who is receiving this, over?"
"This, This is the Lord of Unity. We did not expect any of the old satelites to have survived, nor anyone develope enough to use them. Tell us, where are you? Our two nations may benifit greatly from Trade and co-operation; for the betterment of all human kind." The Lord began writing a series of orders and passing them to the Captain. He hurried off to obey and soon the Hopefull was sailing along the coast of Northern Ireland; heading towrads a city the Glaswegian traders called Derryville. (Londonderry)

We are many peoples united in one goal; cities and farmers, enginneers and artists, scholars and soldiers all united in the cause of human unity."
Then slydessertfox takes the radio thingy away from Dud..."What is this place you call "The British Isles and France"?"
"Two ancient Empire that once warred with each other. Gentlemen while I am happy to answer your questions you must also answer mine. Who are you? Where are you?" The connection is terminated as the Telecommunications officer make a fresh report. The satelites position has been calculated and the trajectory places it over the Old Colony of New England. More importantly the Grand Duchy of Berlin has just surrendered to the 5th Army, and with it its many vassals and abundant mineral wealth. "Gentlmen based on your position I can inform you that the Empire of Unity lies far to the East of you, across the ocean. But do not fear, Unity will be with you soon." After confirmming that the Newly formed Seventh Army could hold Londonderry, which had joined willingly and was able to advance into te remainder of Ireland, the Lord ordered the 1st Army back aboard the Hopefull, refueled the fighters and dropships and made sail; striking a bold course across the ocean. On the Charts table a thick red line cut across the ocean to Baltimore.
Everyone prepare the defenses, they may be hostile. Philips, you will meet them along with Sly and Surfusa. Meanwhile, I will focus on the zombie problem.
well its gonna be a long trip. We need to create the proper navigation equipment first. I order all my best scientists into developing better navigation equipment. Our flight program can only last 3 hours, look what they could do! Two weeks into the voyage and all is going well. News from Europe has bolstered morale signifigantly. Ireland joined the Empire in a near bloodless decision. The 3rd Army had taken the Free City of Barcelona; a great trading city but more importantly the home of another of the Great Carriers. In Italy Unity had run into tougher resistance and the Campaign in Piedmonte was proving long and bloody. Most of all however; the 2nd Carrier had been completed, christened the ISS Endevour the Lord of Unity was quick to make use of it sending these orders to its Captain, Admiral McClure: [spoiler:gud0nx8n]Admiral, Disregard orders concerning Danish Campaign, I have retasked the 5th Army from Berlin to take Copenhagen. Procceed with all haste to the former State of Maine. Orders will follow when you are 3 days behind our eta. Defend yourself only if attacked. Stealth operations should be employed.[/spoiler:gud0nx8n]
Meanwhile, Dud leads the 7th Zealot Brigade and 3rd Mechanized Infantry against the zombie threat. Zombies are killed in a massive campaign then burned to ashes. The rest of the zombies are captured to be tests of a cure.
