The battle of Denver continues.The newly formed task force tries destroys all the fortified buildings with the help of the Covenant tank core.Friendly casualties are low with about 10 troopers killed.One of the recon units has spotted mutant soldiers arriving to the front.After the report to Philips he commented: "Looks like the mutants are against us.Bring out the 50.cals men!"
"Bring in the armor!" Captain Miller yells over the radio. 4 medium tanks and 3 heavy tanks arrive on the scene. "Aliright guys, nothin this baby cant handle remember. Lets clear the path so the mutants can get here to support us" (in Battle of Denver)
"Mutants, take cover. *presses ear piece* Snipers, take the shot when you know it conects." The commander saw the tanks arriving but he still to have enough men to reach Denver. The Snipers laid waiting for a perfect moment. The closest one was a 100m to the left.
A scanvenger climbs up a junk pile wearing pieces of NCR armor he keeps walking then he sits down next to a pile of trash he starts to walk then finds a old pipboy with a broken screen.

Bring out the Onager-tanks!! Initiate Operation: Ascendant Justice Fortify Phillips men with more zealots. Bring out the Vulcan light tanks (remember when I was researching a new tank) Support the Onager-tanks. Elite Zealots dropped in enemy lines. Initiate Gassing of the Mutants. Artillery shells filled with extermination acid gas were fired at the mutants. Mutants might be immune to poison but not to acid. Onager-tanks were also loaded with acid gas shells. Emperor Extraneus prepares the newly restored 12 Bombers. The bombers were old B-29's but they were refitted with gauss guns and acid gas bombs. "Goddamn Mutants, I knew the savages couldn't hold that instinct to kill" Phillips is given a promotion making him Zealot Master. The 3rd Highest Rank in the Covenant Military. "For valiant service you deserve this promotion, defend the Covenant!!" New assault rifles were given to troops. Researched to be more effective than M4A1's and have good accuracy and more velocity for penetration.
Anti-air guns fired heavy rounds onto the bombers, three crashed to the Earth igniting their explosives leaving craters in their place. The rest of the turned around as the flak guns were too much for the bombers to stand up against
Phillips' task force assaulted most of the enemy holdouts in Denver with success mostly.The remaining soldiers gave up and they were taken prisoners for interrogation.When the army got out of Denver they saw the mutant and human bodies laying burned by acid and fire.Most of the covenant troopers commented"They didn't deserved to die like this even if they're savages." Phillips and the other generals of the Covenant had a meeting back at the mountain to make a plan against the invaders.The plan was to retake Washington DC first then move up north-east to the mutant territories and finally retake Salvage Hill.
The mutants had finally reached the otherside of the mountains and began making their way to Dud's capital. Although small these 15 mutants were the best in under cover operations and some of the best military minds to be seen. They used the locals and hitch hiked to the capital. The humans were friendly, and when they had been paid well for their services. Once at the capital, the mutants used abanded apartments and rooftops to set up the biggest military success in history. The mutants had set charges on the bank, to slow them down. The explosives were set for 5 hours after the bank was closed. As the explosives went off, flying debris on fire shot across the street setting the top of an apartment on fire. One of the mutants that was watching on the roof of the building next to the apartment saw a sleeping couple and jumped into the apartment through a window. He hit the floor and looked around, the humans inside were sleeping. He grabbed the humans in the room and went into the hallway. Another group of humans stood outside running towards the stairs. As they did a support crashed through the ceiling of the apartment and blocked the humans from their escape. The mutant pushed the support up so the humans could get through, then he himself went through and followed. He rushed downstairs into the lobby as humans crowded around the doors. They we locked and the locks had melted. The mutant rammed the door besides some other humans and forced it open. The humans cheered and some even approached the mutant and thanked him. The mutant began to leave as police arrived, and the police aimed their rifles at him. They told him to lie on the floor, but the mutant would rather die than be held prisoner. The police were about to fire on him as the people stepped between the two. The police still opened fire killing 5 civilians and injuring 11 more. The mutant injured, yelled no more, yet the police continued to fire. People watching all around were outraged and began forming into angry mobs throwing bricks and bottles at the police. The police fired on them as well. The mutants had already left, with a disgusted feeling in their hearts. Who were the bigger savages? Riots are non-stop in Dud's capital.
To cover the mutants retreat and to stop Dud from being able to quell the riots, SLydessertfox increases the pressure. I propose some kind of peace.
A line of NCR soldiers are walking down a empty road with collars around their necks lead by a group of legion soldiers they keep walking then stop by a old building then lines a group of NCR soldiers up against a wall then they take out clubs then starts to beat them to death one of the soldiers walks infront of a group of NCR then says: this is your fate you maggots. the group of legion starts to laugh then one of the NCR sodiers walks up to the legion he looks about twenty then says: You monsters! im gona kill all of you legion basterds!. the legion soldiers then punchs him across the face then says: you got balls kid. then he starts to yell then the legion soldiers start to lead the group in the building and the twenty year old is left alone outside chained to a pipe.
"Riots eh?, I know how to handle this." Initiate Operation: Clear the Fox Hole Dud shows himself while riots are happening and gives a speech. "People of the Covenant, why have you started riots against your country?" "The country that brought you out of the oppressive government of the NJR and gave you peace and prosperity. You are being fooled, my dear people to turn into the hypocrisy of the mutants. Why do you fight against yourselves when we are being invaded by savage hypocrites! Fight for your lands, my people! Not for your leader! I am only mortal but your lands are forever so long as you defend them. Rise my people! Fight for victory! Fight for survival! Fight for your families!!!!" The people are inspired and stopped within 3 hours. Most then enlisted in the military. Dud gave the speech truthfully it was not propaganda but true beliefs of Dud.
Then a shot rang out. Chaos erupted as a band of men bolt to get out of the crowd as guards are in hot pursuit. "Did we get him?" asked one of the fleeing men. "I think so". Slydessertfox receives a message and heres that Dud has been shot. However, he is not dead but only wounded in the arm. " Damnit!" he screams "I almost had him too" Expecting retaliation, he improves his security as now he fears for his life. Meanwhile, morale on the front is still high despite the recent setbacks in the campaign
Initiate Phase Two of Operation: Clear the Fox Hole. Gas zealots drop in 3..2..1.. DROP!!! Gas Zealots are then dropped behind the front lines. Gas them all!! You may take defectors and prisoners and civilians who survives the gassing. The results were terrible. Many were poisoned because they were humans. A letter is sent to Phillips. Zealot master Phillips Auctrix, I have heard of signs of defection in your men. Its rumors but we can never be too careful. Handle it without causing dissent. Another message dropped in leaflets stated "Do you really want to live under a ruler who thinks using gas is moral?" More riots erupt across Dud's country in outrage of his gas attacks on the civilians of Crobart. This time in much larger and more violent groups. Many of the lesser cities are set ablaze by the rioters who want this cruelty to end
