I had an 80 supply lead, 2o more harvesters, and you had thousands of resources banked. You just had more tanks.

Also, you may have been 80 supply ahead, but when you throw 150 into a tank line, it's not good.

I was contained and had maxed out supply. If I had waited to attack, you would have just gotten more tanks. Better to move out with the 80 supply lead.

At least siege your tanks first.

No disrespect taken,I just have a preference to more timing- and deception-based tactics. Though you are right, attacks like the BC rush are very fragile to a smart player who either plans quicker attacks or has better scouting. That is why I'm working on a deceptive tactic that isn't based on having a "tin-shield" defense at my base. Deception is a mechanic of war, and the best decisions are the ones most people wouldn't expect, eh?

EDIT: I realize after posting this, I was thinking of the wrong type of decision making. You meant on the fly decision making I assume now, am I correct?

You were not ahead 20 harvesters, you were ahead 20 SCV's. In this case the two are different. After watching the replay, you had 24 idle SCV's before the battle, and when I killed you whole army, not even counting the mineral line of your natural, I was ahead in workers. You were actually behind a few harvesters, but ahead on workers.

I had just mined out right before the battle.
