   On Paradox's forums loads of people bitch about How Powerful the Holy Roman and Byzantine Empires are. And I hate playing games with OP nations.

   CK 2 is not exactly historically plausible though. And the HRE was neither centralized enough to be considered one state. At least to my knowledge. Essentially, the game is unbalanced

   I do agree about the HRE. Most of their technically controlled areas were controlled by independent city states and the like such as milan, genoa, venice, switzerland, etc.
