Russia has been in Caucasus fighting insurgents over 20 years........ And I didn't say Russia shouldn't fight this war, only that when they criticize US of doing partly the same, its ridiculously hypocritical.

dudinator, yes they can criticize US, but it makes them hypocrites.
Us more evil than Russia? :D grow up
And at least when US fights insurgents they are trying to make a democratic government, unlike Russia who is undemocratic putin land.

The US is not trying to make a democratic government, they're trying to make a puppet state that will sell them all of their oil.

The US never fought for democracy, they only care for money and oil.

Even in WW2 it was about control over resources and industry. The US didn't give a flying fuck for democracy, the Jews or whatever.

Georgy are seriously saying this about current situation in Afghanistan:"they're trying to make a puppet state that will sell them all of their oil." :D do I need to tell you how wrong you are? First, afghans rose up in 2001 US first only helped on small scale.

Meaning Afghanistan isn't a puppet state, puppet state couldn't tell US to get out mind you, do you want more? And also, if Iraq would sell all their oil to America, US oil prices wouldn't be rising up... How old are you two, seriously...

And I didn't say, US fights for democracy all the time, learn to read.. I said when they go and invade, at least they help like in Afghanistan or set up a democratic government like in Iraq, of course these governments have faults, but they are better than Taliban or Saddam Hussein..

The Iraqi government is corrupt and unstable. the Afghan government is not any better. We don't help at all. We kill the bad guy, set up a guy who has no clue what he's doing, kill some innocent people, and leave.

Unstable? People said it will collapse months after US finally withdraws its troops. Its still there. Its doing really good considering its the middle east version of former Yugoslavia. And corruption is much much lower than it was under saddam Hussein. And in some areas Iraq corruption is much lower than in Russia, small fact. Do you have any idea what you are talking about? "kill some innocent people, and leave"

Just because the gov't says we're leaving, doesn't mean we've left. Also, Iraq is one of the most dangerous places on Earth. People run across the borders into Iran and Turkey en masse. And i didn't "Abandon my argument", I argued against an argument you made against mine.

Of course its one of the most dangerous places on earth, just like Yugoslavia was after it broke, difference is Iraq stays together and will, if it stays like this, over come difficulties. It wasn't safe under saddam either, saddam was always fighting against the Kurds in the north. I bet you didn't know that either.

I NEVER said coalition hasn't done anything wrong. Can you read? Yes there has been civilian deaths, what is your point? (also to my original post: it makes Russia even more hypocrite when they criticize collator damage in Afghanistan, when they have and do much worse things in the Caucasus region)

You said they didn't kill innocents. they massacred innocents. But anyway, there's no use arguing about this, because it's not going to make any difference anyway, plus, we've got better things to do than argue over whether or not the Russians are hypocrites for the Caucasus. They're both mass murdering imperialistic countries, and that is my final point.

Again what's your point? Russia was fighting in chechnya (part of Russia) in Caucasus in the 90 and in a small scale, even today. These days Russia is fighting in dagestan (part of Russia) in Caucasus. So what did you try to say with your post? What's Russians good relationships (not with Georgia, mind you) in Caucasian COUNTRY'S have to do with our discussion?

Let's say that Chechnya,Dagestan and Igusetia are related in this term. During the collapse of the USSR in the 90-s people some russian people started dissapearing and after a while convoys started being ambushed by the Chechnyan insurgents.

During this war many insurgents from Ingusetia and Dagestan were helping Chechnyans. And you know, many Georgians are still visiting Russia because they understand their president was just a US puppet.

The war in 2008 occured because Georgian forces trained and equiped by the Us invaded South Osetia. The reason why Russian army interveened is because lots of people who lived in South Osetia were russians and also Georgians attacked russian peacekeepers.

Why are you telling me this? It doesn't debunk any of my arguments...the More you tell me about insurgency in Caucasus the more it makes Russia a hypocrite to criticize US etc. Also I disagree with you in the reasons why 2008 Georgian war started, but I not going to discuss it because its not relevant to this discussion...
