    That creates a contradiction however, some of the poor could accumulate more wealth than others and the cycle will have to repeat.

    Plato doesn't believe that the goal of democracy is to have prefect equality like communism though. So inequalities through wealth are a non issue. The issue is when the society honours wealth above all.

    I for one agree with the statement. You know its sad i have been meaning to read works from Plato for some time now but with school work i have yet to have the time to do so. Now with time im lost at which of the works i should read first (any recommendations Stalin)
