Ah yes, I remember reading something about parasites that affect the brain like these. Some of them affect mice, which makes them attracted to predators, so that the parasite can spread. If I remember correctly, they can't affect human brains though, so there's nothing to worry...yet.

A parasite evolves to be eaten by an ant, so it can control the ant’s brain, so that the ant will sacrifice it’s life to be eaten by a cow. The parasite then lays it’s eggs in the cows feces, so that a snail will eat the parasite eggs, so that an ant will eat the slime of the snail containing the parasites.
