Looks like Spielberg's trying his hand at WWI

Looks like someone is attempting to ruin WW1. An actual good movie about WW1 is Joyeux Noel.

This was an amaxing book. The movie seems very different from the book (as do most movies) And has anyone noticed that Spielberg has some input on every major American war movie created. He even helped create Letters From iwo Jima

It will most likely be OK film since he hasn't directed a good film since Band of Brothers, which I know was a short series on HBO, but the cast looks very promising. Janusz Kami?ski will do a good job at cinematography as usual. Richard Curtis the screenwriter did work on Pirate Radio, a movie that had some good moments in. So I an hoping that all this good will inspire Spielberg again to do something good.

He didn't direct Band of Brothers, he produced it. Same with The Pacific and Letters From Iwo Jima.

Maybe his directorial skills haven't been as sharp as they once were, but he is a fantastic producer.

I read this book when I was a child, surprised it is being made into a film.

Went to see Deathly Hallows and this trailer was on. A large number of the audience laughed when the title "Warhorse" faded in.
