Can you put a ban on filling Coffee House threads full of meanigless shit that has nothing to do with the original post? I think everyone is guilty of it, me included, but it is getting fucking irritating. The amount of threads that are fucking derailed takes the fucking piss.

Anyhow, i'm pretty sure there won't be any changes made to the Coffee House at this time. I for one, think it's alright, although maybe there are a few too many threads which are basically 'here's a link to a crackpot article' or 'i'm angry about something that doesn't fit my world view'

Anyway, everyone gets accused of being a Nazi on the internet. I'm just amazed it's taken the best part of a year before it was my turn. And on a more serious note, you can't be a history-nerd without being just a bit obsessed with the Nazis, if only because there's so much material. That's not what I meant (being from Birmingham, I don't want to offend Britain's real second city)- just seems ironic to be derailing a thread that was started because someone's annoyed about threads being derailed. Still, from my point of view, threads just err, develop. Only absolute jerks derail them outright, so C_G has a valid point.
