I think there was once a thread like this but I'm pretty sure it was for exclusively darkest hour. Since there's a pretty big fan base of grand strategy on these forums I figure we can have a big collaboration of our various worlds with explanations and highlights next to a screen shot . I'll start : This is my current play through as Novgorod. I'm not sure if it was the update or what it was but this game has been WACK so far and I've secured this much territory in less then 15 years I believe, despite my character being a gigantic piece of shit who can't have more then 4 territories. I've managed to keep everyone happy by making all my vassals superbly weak, I have all the duchies under control and they are all counts. Strongest might have two counties. Doesn't matter because they all love me but I see my future succession crisis to be ball breaking. Also, the holy roman empire is all ready gone. Your go, forum.
Nice, I want to do a Russian play through after Stalin is done with his let's play. My Byzantine Empire. It's really fun to play them actually, and I think I have a decent system down for keep vassals in check. I seriously have not had more than one revolt since my two first rulers when I started the game. The awesome thing about Byzantium is there is always something to do, always some place to conquer and with the Muslims it is extremely easy. Also, the Duchy of Sinai is hilarious, it is a burning bush.
Just an update, I've expanded and formed rus before 1100. But yeah I want to play as byzantium sometime, but they seem almost too action packed for my standards.
