Hi everyone, I'm Ian, a 16 year old student from Melbourne, Australia. Don't let my age fool you by the way, I've been an avid gamer since the age of 5, and as for my politics and history knowledge, I've taken both subjects for 4-5 years now (I skipped a grade in primary school) at one of the best peforming schools in the country. The games I enjoy are pretty diverse, ranging from strategy (Command and Conquer, Civilization, Total War, Age of Empires) to RPGs (Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Knights of the Old Republic, Deus Ex) to FPSs (Battlefield, Medal of Honor, Brothers in Arms, Call of Duty, Half Life, Halo, Tom Clancy) to action-adventure (Batman Arkham, Portal, Grand Theft Auto) to racing (Forza, Need for Speed, Burnout, Colin McRae/DiRT) and more. The first proper games I played were Captain Comic 1 and 2 by Michael Denio and Hocus Pocus by Apogee Games, both for MS-DOS. The first relatively modern games (at the time) that I played were AoE 2, Deus Ex and Halo (though it took me an hour to find the switch for the light bridge). My favourite game of all time is probably Mass Effect 2. While I do have an Xbox 360 which I occasionally play on, you've probably reasoned by now that I am primarily a PC gamer. I'm fairly well versed in PC hardware and have put together two PCs myself. The current specs of my main system are: Intel Core i5 750 processor 4 GB RAM 1.6 TB total hard drive space 1GB GTX 260 graphics card And finally, I got into Stalin through his let's play of Mass Effect, and have been following him intermittently since. Thanks for reading this far, and I hope to get to know you all better.
