My new favorite film. Based on the 1972 book written by Gonzo Journalist Hunter S. Thompson, it's about a Journalist and his Attorney who goes to Las Vegas to cover the Mint 400 motorcycle race. However, do to the amount of drugs they ingest, things soon get out of hand. I think it's a brilliant film. Great cinematography, great use of location, good music. It's terrific. If you like really random movies, this is for you.
Johnny Depp plays journalist Raoul Duke, and Benicio del Toro plays his attorney, Dr. Gonzo. It was made sometime in the late 90's. It's on DVD and Blu Ray.
This is an amazing movie!!!! My mate said though you have to watch it stoned coz its way better but never have.
Yeah this film was pretty decent. I'm usually not into real druggy movies, but Fear and Loating is one of my acceptions. Bald Johnny Depp was pretty epic and my favorite scene is when he's tripping out on acid when there in the 2nd hotel room. Plus "Somebody To Love" by Jefferson Airplane is a pretty epic song and it fit the film perfectly. "We can't stop here! We're in bat country!"
