Stalin drinks? I... don't knowwhat to say except..welcome. I'm 23 by the way younguns, not illegal. I love samuel adams, being from Boston andall.
I like octoberfest, but I'm not a big lager guy so most Sam Adams doesn't bode well with me... Generally I like Belgian style ales, my top two being Unibroue's La Fin du Monde, and Delerium Tremens
Huge fan of Belgian brews. Anyone who can stack 8,000 different kinds of brews into one bar I'm a fan of.
Glad to see another fan on here. When I lived on the East Coast I used to frequent a beer garden with over 360 different brews and I've had maybe 25-35 different Belgians. I like how Belgian beer isn't brewed too bitter, and some of them can be pretty sweet, but I think it's a perfect balance. Also the highly elevated ABV is pretty nice Any recommendations from your beer drinking travels?
I rarely drink, but when I do I enjoy wine or brandy. I also dress up in a top hat and monocle, in order to make myself feel more sophisticated.
I would love to see a picture of you in a top hat and monacle. I imagine you would look sort of like Mortimer from the White Glove Society in your FO:NV videos.
I'm a big fan of cava myself, but most other wines aren't as good. When it comes to beer, usually ales. As many have mentioned, lagers tend towards the bitter end and I'm not a huge fan of that. I find that some whiskeys and cognacs are pretty good but there it's down to a bottle-by-bottle deal.
I drink a Bushmills black or 21 dry on occasion, IMO Bush 21 is right up there with the best whiskeys
I also really enjoy Jagermeister with either lemonade or energy drink, vodka martini and a nice glass of red in the winter or white in the summer.
Never tried them. I'll keep an eye open next time popping through the ol' liquor store. I had a licorice shot (Jager with licorice additive of some kind) once at a family member's birthday party, and it honestly put me off drinking shots forever. Since I've got in my head that I don't like wine, I don't drink it all too often. However, I could see it being a really good drink if paired correctly with food. I've just never had the pleasure of getting the correct pairings.
Jager really is an aquired taste. If your are interested in learning about what types of wine to pair with food check out Oz and James' Wine Adventure on youtube. It has Oz Clarke a wine expert and Top Gear's James May on a grand tour of France and California trying different wines and teaching you about different types for different occasions. Hugely entertaining if nothing else.
Good stuff ???????. I'm just trying to think what sort of wine would go well with that ramen we were chatting about.
Also John Cleese is in a wine documentary he made where he just drinks and visits wineries. Funny close up of John Cleese snuckered.
That's actually just what Jager tastes like, lol, there was no additive... Like Login said, it's kind of an acquired taste, oft associated with frat parties and the jersey shore. Personally I can't stand it, I don't get why people do Jager bombs, when there is a far superior alternative (Vegas Bomb) built on the same principle (alcohol dropped into red bull)
I prefer win myself being a french men and all but beer is good once in awhile. But all in all i like wine better.
