Okay, little bit of an exaggeration, but I was watching Stalin's Kaiserreich video's and he was all like "why would anyone ever beat their kids for anything".

I don't mean we should get out the belts and just fuck up our children for the slightest misconduct, I'm saying one good smack to the side of the head is not unwarranted. As to Stalin's story about his brother if I brought all my friends over totally unannounced and left around a bunch of gross bottles half full of chewing tobacco spit, I'm pretty sure I'd find myself on the street the next day.

Another thing , if your brat children are whining and screaming and bitching about how you won't buy them enough candy in the grocery store, beat your damn kids. Your spoiled brat of a child deserves it, I'm sorry , not something kids should be allowed to get away with, sitting in the corner when they get home is NOT enough.

I'm willing to do it for free , just to shut that kid up. When I was 4 years old I had enough respect for my parents not to be a public embarrassment, I never even complained about my meals. It's like teaching your kids values and stuff, crazy shit I know but some don't rely on the TV to do it and actually teach the kids themselves.

I really can't understand what people have against just a smack to head or a spanking. It does not mentally scar them and it just stings for little bit afterword, and it is much more effective then just sending them to their room or hell i know kids whose only punishment for doing something wrong is to get their fucking cellphone taken away.

I beat kids better than Lamp does, I have more experience and you get what you pay for after all.

My 10 year old cousin is one of those kids that needs a good smack. He demands everything of his mom then throws a fit if she won't get him something. Makes me sick seeing him turning into a whiny leech.

By beating a young child, you are teaching them that violence can be used to solve problems. I'd like you to find a wife beater, or a child abuser who wasn't 'Smacked' or beaten as a child. Also, what about children with mental disabilities? Such as Autism? Doing that could cause irreparable damage to them. And autistic children are no small minority. When you consider that 1 in 30 children has autism, and the average family has 3 children, that's 1 in 10 families with an Autistic child.

Beating children DOES cause mental scaring. From what I understand, pretty much all research points to, and proves this.

Remember: Stalin has a degree in Psychology. He knows this kind of stuff far more than any of us.

Autism is such a boon. It's like ADHD. I probably have fucking ADHD too, it doesn't effect me at all. It seems like most Autistic kids are just "that weird kid in class" or "unusually quiet". They're not disabled. It would be like finding a slightly malfunctioning fan and saying it was as bad as a fan that has been shooting sparks and lights on fire.

Anyway, yes, Autism sucks and blah blah blah. But it only is a major problem for a small group. Being "slightly" Autistic means little.

I got beat a lot when I was a kid. But I certainly wouldn't beat my girlfriend or anything because of a fight. But with kids (drawing from my aunt's example), you need to teach hard lessons by beating them. Then again my standards doesn't apply to all, and probably because I'm Asian.

What if the child has a mental disability? Most mental disabilities are hard to identify by the average folk, and are very often mistaken for 'Behavioral problems'. Beating a child who does not understand, or cannot control his 'Wrong-doings' can cause irreparable mental damage. No, not every child who has been beaten turns out to be a murderer, rapist, wife beater or the likes. But even for a neurotypical person, it can cause severe, life-long mental scarring.
