    Read the article.

This makes me want to throw up. Why would anyone consider advertising this disgusting representation of a Women getting beaten up by some wealthy man, well their both wealthy from the looks of it. Promoting advertisements like this for the motive of profit-making. This days make me sick!!!!

    What do you think guys?

Advertisement in bad taste? Sure. But by no means does it promote abuse against women...

No it doesn't. It's just a bit of dry humor in bad taste. If anyone takes it as "BEAT YOUR BITCHES AND LOOK COOL" then they were an idiot to start with.

The owner of the salon that paid for the ad is a woman. I don't think her intentions were to have men beat up their wives. Domestic abusers are already looked upon as some of the most despicable people in society today, right alongside child molesters. I hardly think the ad is going to sway anyone.

No one said it was art, but then again, I didn't read the article. Plus, it has nothing to do with money. From what I can tell though, it was nap day in the marketing department.

Well, regardless of what the owners intention were, another Petty Bourgeoisie making a fortune out of it. I still think this ad is going to affect someone physiologically, regardless of what her main intention were. Well, at least someone retaliated back at the Salon by smashing up the place.

I'm not particularly fond of ads anyway. (Take up to much space and are generally annoying.)

This has nothing to do with the capitalist/communist dispute. It's advertising/marketing, which would exist in either system.
