I'm semi socialist remember, I agreed with a lot of what you said. The thing is, I know that this would never get on its feet and the country would not be able to support itself.

I can't be president unless they change the law about being born in the USA but
How would you handle these issues:
Illegal Immigration - Easier to recieve a green card, but harder on citizenships.
The Wars in the Middle East - Continue the war with withdrawal of troops.
Universal Healthcare - No (Unless already implemented)
The Economic Crisis - Increase ALL taxes by .50% and lessen the military spending by 40%. I would also tell researchers everywhere to start researching reusable uranium (which is possible but illegal) to have a more efficient source.
War With Iran - Iran needs its people to decide not us.
War With North Korea - Starve them out
    Use of Torture - Legal
Government Surviellence on Citizens - Illegal with excemption of those considered jepodizing the country's safety.
Space Exploration - To continue to start a moon base on the moon. (Not a newt base)
    Gay's Rights - Legal
Enviormentalism - Have higher taxes to those companies using fuels such as fossil fuels and oil, and then encourage green energy by giving tax redemptions who have 100% reusable energy. Logging companies also must replace all trees chopped and are recommended to grow tree farms.
Abortion - Illegal for responsibility reasons. (With exception of rape)
Legalization of Marijuana - Illegal, those who support it are also the users of the drug. You shouldn't need any form of substance to get rid of stress.
Education Reform- Yes, but it doesn't matter how much you spend, we need actual results!
Stance on Unions - Marget Thatcher would be my role model on Unions.

It couldn't all be done instantly, and what I said would require majority support of socialism. I believe it's all entirely possible though. That being said, that list was entirely hypothetical, and based on an ideal scenario - in truth, I don't believe that socialism can be voted in.

I apologize for my hostility, too.

Illegal Immigration: Ideally we should be working towards the free movement of personal and materials between North American and Central American nations.

The Wars in the Middle East: Rap that shit up. Leave some security and logistics personal behind for reconstruction and development purposes. Continue the fight against insurgents and terrorist cells with small covert forces.

Universal Healthcare: Offer an optional basic coverage and emergency use plan. Nonessential and cosmetic procedures should strictly be handled by private providers.

The Economic Crisis: Every science buffs wet dream. Military Keynesianism reworked into "NASA Keynesianism". Goodbye military industrial complex, hello space industrial complex!

War With Iran: International pressure will eventually get the better of them. Worst comes to worst we'll have to throw in some minor support for Israel and Saudi Arabia.

    War With North Korea: Why?

    Use of Torture: Barbaric

Government Surviellence on Citizens: I'm for more cameras in public and automated/semi-automated ticketing systems. Not much more than that.

Space Exploration: Lots. For multiple purposes.

Gay's Rights: Marriage shouldn't be institution of the state anyways. If they can find a religious official who is willing to marry them, wonderful.

Environmentalism: We could definitely stand for some higher industry standards. Especially concerning the water supply.

Abortion: Complicated issue. But it definitely should be a legal practice.

Legalization of Marijuana: Sure. Hallucinogens maybe. Decriminalize use of hard drugs but make rehab mandatory.

Education Reform: Higher national standards for both staff and students, mandate a minimum level of funding for materials and personal that states must meet, federally provided tutor programs.

Stance on Unions: Up in the air on this one. Maybe do away with minimum wage and bring back collective bargaining rights.

    Three words.
    Chinese.
    Nuclear.
    Holocaust.

I'd just abuse the overpowered American static defenses and watch them burn. China ain't growing larger on my watch.

For domestic policy, I think maybe pour gasoline on the working class and light them up.

A wise man also said time outlasts any product.

China is already beginning to fail. Look at what the workers are beginning to expect as a life style. Look at the fact China needs companies in its region to have any economy that can compete with an outside force. Japan has already gone through all this

Seriously though? Maybe Transportation or Health? I don't know, I'd have to think about it.

Illegal Immigration: Have smart borders that allow the free movement of goods, trades and people, something like Schengen over here in the EU. For immigrants, visa restrictions should be eased quite a bit, especially for those in careers where work demand is necessary. Of course, border controls should still exist on the side, especially for human trafficking, weapons and hard drugs.

The Wars in the Middle East: Support stable, emerging democratic governments with financial and educational aide. Infrastructural projects to help alleviate poverty and pollution could help mend some fences. Also, the U.S. should stop supporting Israel at every turn, and help foster a regional dialogue that includes other issues, such as the availability of clean water and electricity.

Universal Healthcare: Oh yes. Have a single payer federal system. If people want to opt out, private health facilities and options can continue as before, though it should cost more (see Germany).

The Economic Crisis: Not an easy answer, for sure. However, as a short term solution with long term benefits, I would support putting people to work on more infrastructural projects (similar to Obama's idea). Rail lines and highways in many places need urgent repair and improvement.

War With Iran: Avoid military confrontation, but avoid being overtly friendly either. Sponsor people to people and university contacts.

War With North Korea: Give North Korea a hug, and take them to a malt shop so they can vent their feelings.

    Use of Torture: Strictly forbidden.

Government Surviellence on Citizens: Continue to monitor fringe, violent extremist groups of both the left and right, as well as continue a crackdown on organized crime. However, surveillance on non-violent political interest groups should be out.

Space Exploration: If there's more money, why not. We should explore Space.

Gay's Rights: Federally protect the rights of all homosexuals against hate crimes and sexual discrimination. However, leave gay marriage to the states.

Enviormentalism: Support the creation of renewable energies, perhaps with the sponsorship of universities or colleges dedicated to studying and inventing such projects. However, the government should not interfere with any technological designs, and should only act as a moral supporter and financial sponsor.

Abortion: I'm fully pro-choice, and it should be federally protected.

Legalization of Marijuana: Leave it to the states.

Education Reform: Redirect more finances to the Department of Education, and ensure that its state equivalents would receive adequate funding. Also, emphasize the sciences, history and geography more in schools. Additionally, practical education for trades should be increased for those who do not want a college education. We should see a car mechanic just as much as a noble profession as a university administrator.

Stance on Unions: They have the right to bargain and exist. No contest there.

It's my dreamworld, and I know some are probably highly impractical for the time being, but it's just a thought...

Illegal Immigration: Try to increase border corporation between America/nation that has alot of Immigrants. But maybe I'll use a populist campaign and just crack down on them.

The Wars in the Middle East: Pull most troops out but leave a small detachment to monitor the development of the country (Schools, hospitals, and libraries all that stuff)and support democracy. While having a small force to fight whatever is left of the terrorist.

Universal Healthcare: Have the essentials be available to every citizen, while some of the nonessentials be in control of private companies. Though perhaps the French model could work in the united states, might go with that.

The Economic Crisis: Keynesian economics and then facepalm at everyone who says I'm a socialist for it.

War With Iran: Increase international pressure and sanctions against there economy, while encouraging revolts against the theocratic regime. Perhaps I would support a Joint strike from Saudi Arabia and Israel, then after the superior U.S has won I would set up a mock democracy were a Zoroastrianism leader would be elected.

War With North Korea: Support South Korea? Just don't see the point of war with North Korea.

Use of Torture: Get rid of.

Government Surviellence on Citizens: I guess public cameras are o.k, but I would also work on the repeal of the Patriot Act.

Space Exploration: Do it, also increase the use of private industry in space

Gay's Rights: Support same sex marriage

Enviormentalism: Be like China and just not give a shit about the Environment.

    Abortion: It should be legal.

Legalization of Marijuana: Support it, and have both private and public sector to distribute it.

Education Reform: Repeal no child left behind.

Stance on Unions: Increase the minimum wage and support the unions to no end

Syria conflict (added): Continue to support the rebels because anything that will weaken Iran's sphere of influence in the region, I support.
