I was waiting for someone to say something like this. He acted in a few films and is an activist for gay rights. I don't think that compares to developing the first computer, winning world war two and being one of the greatest minds the UK has ever created.
Did anyone mention that because of his homosexuality he was forced to undergo a "hormone therapy" that would turn him into a woman. He got depressed, and eventually killed himself by eating a poisoned apple.
