I personally think this is a great idea I mean come on why must the "great" Chinese government have to pay for the bullet they use to kill "scum" who obviously deserved there death.

I mean I so love China, almost as much as @Kali

China once sentenced a man to death for stealing a cellphone.

I wonder if someone, somewhere will justified the actions of China in that regard.

First you said their:"airforce sucks balls" nobody was talking how good they are in a conventional war against a superpower... You just said they suck balls....

BTW their airforce is thirds largest in the world and they are producing new planes as we speaks. So it wont take 60 years for them, if they produce and larger their military budget at this rate.

True I did say "sucks balls" . I apologize I sometimes forget that the United States isn't the only country in the world.

However, I still believe China isn't next in line. They would have to go through the current superpower i n order to become one of there own, weather it is economically, militarily, or diplomatically. I suppose there winning economically right now though lol.

PS This reminds me of Civilization.

I just hate it when people call America the next Rome. America is not like the Roman Empire. To answer the OP, will America "fall"? Well if by fall, you mean cease to exist, then no, definitely not. But if by fall, you mean fall from superpower status, then yes. China won't be the ones replacing them though.

Agreed. Superpowers don't just cease to exist these days. They only fall out of the top spot.

No, Empires eventually dissapear, and something else replaces them. No country lasts forever. And colbert, how deep we are in debt isn't really relevant.

At this point in time we are an empire of flaccidity. Flacid leadership, flaccid foreign policy etc. We used to be a worthy empire but now I'm not so sure.

I think it is. It's hard to fight wars when you're massively in debt.

*sigh* This again? Well America is not an empire since first and formost it is in fact close to one being a very dominant political and millitary force however it lacks the sheer land holdings to be an empire.

I would say it is not an empire, but damn close. for a long time we owned the Phillipines and a large chunk of Panama, we own American Samoa, US virgin islands, and Puerto Rico. we expanded faster than most other "Empires", in around 20 years we doubled our size, then doubled again in another 2o or so years, then in 50 or so we doubled again. we destroyed the Japanese Empire, the German Empire, the Spanish Empire (although, they were on the verge of collapse anyways) and we economically destroyed the Soviet Union. we exert more political and economic influence over the world than most other countries.

But we never colonized anything. We simply annexed like a lot of other countries. And yes we had influence, but so does every other country. I wouldn't say we were ever close to being an empire.

The US just isn't trying anymore. Where an Empire is a Sociopathic sort of nation (not stating the people are sociopaths, just their policies are sociopathic) we, as a nation, tend to be more like that one chick who vomits half her guts out a week before prom so she looks pretty and appeals to everyone, eventually leading her down a hard life, becoming addicted to drugs, and giving handies for ten dollars so she can feed her addiction, eventually leading her to OD in a dirty motel room. Yeah, what point are we at yet?
