    All right, since nobody has posted anything other than "Why?" I suppose I'll start.

    This is pretty strange indeed, especially since we have absolutely no information about the incidents other than they occurred. (I don't speak Dutch, but if there was more information in the videos, please tell us non-Dutch speakers) These people attacking ambulance crew are obviously not thinking straight, they're either downright petty no-good thugs, or just high off of their rocker.

    We have gangs in Toronto, but at least they aren't inherently evil. They will act kind if you are kind to the gang member in question, and either they are too afraid to do what we've seen in the video due to the fact that they will be arrested for doing so, or they refuse to do something so horrible.
