My microphone is very sensitive to noise on the background. If my parents talk while in the room, everyone is able to hear every single word. Now, this is not a major problem, but it can be annoying for my friends if they have a convo with me on Skype. I was wondering, is there a quick solution to this problem? EDIT: Weird. I have just fixed it myself with four sheets of toilet paper and a bit of tape. Good for me!
That's exactly why many microphones have a foam cover surrounding the tip - it blocks out residual noise while letting in direct sound.
