Based on what? What sets Americans apart and makes us weak?

    Not weak.
I would never call the pursuit of peace weak in any respect.
It is of the most adrimable trates that anyone can have, in my opinion.

I am merely asserting that I believe that the US public is beginning to (if it has not already) cross the threshold from accepting things like war to not doing so. And that they will not fight unless there is absolutely no alternative.
And that, if given an alternative, they will take it.

In this case, I am arguing specifically that if the nations attacking the US merely mean to humble the US and show that the majority of the world harbors beyond doubts about the nobility of its actions around the globe, then the US population may simply accept the lesson and amend their ways rather than fight a war that would avail them to nothing of use.

Again, I AM NOT calling the US population weak; I am saying that they may be moving onto a different set of beliefs that may hinder or alter how they react to such a war.

    If I were in America.

The point was, since you are obviously an American, probably a secret agent or a mobster in the witness protection program, we do live in the same America, and even if you didn't that would put you in no position to judge the nation or it's people, especially it's people.

    Life through different lens.

But the blade cuts both ways. Under that reasoning, if I lived in the US or not, regardless, under your logic, neither of us can determine the feints of the people and can only observe and speculate and pray that we are right.

But not to worry, no chance of any of this happening, eh?

Lol are we still doing this, I thought you guys had come to the conclusion that Imperials very undisclosed location was top secret and stuff... Even though I think it's utterly ridiculous to lie about where you're from... Unless it's Estonia.

He's the one that makes a point about leaving his location "ambiguous".

US will win... there.. China is strong militarily but seriously, the US is still the most powerful military force in the world. In 10 - 20 years maybe it'd be closer, but for now.. China's screwed if they try to invade the US. If I was China, I would wait until the winter of 2066.. then invade...

Hah Fallout reference. But whats up with these constant WHAT IFs scenarios. Stick to facts, there will be no war between China and US. Theres no point in it, since lots of imports are from China to US. Business and money will keep up the peace. Companies will keep their leashes tight on goverments and whack their bank accounts if they dont do what they are told.

If only I'd found this thread earlier... oh well. I think the U.S. would win, due to our superior navy and airforce, and also because we are very difficult to invade from China. But, of course this has already been said.

True, but the U.S. also has the better navy and airforce. The only thing China has an advantage in is manpower.

About 5-6 years outdated, but still relevant to the conversation piece.
