Not too sure how to present this idea but here goes: Arma 2 is one of my favourite Military Simulators and the online community for it is really huge. I'm kind of hoping to get a large enough interest so that we could get people who would be willing to make missions and such as well as people who want to play. Now the civil war idea in the title is a erm rather interesting one I came up with one night when I was playing around on some game or another. I was thinking that if there was enough interest you could make two factions and have a huge PvP system going. With each faction fighting for specific goals and such over a set amount of time and at the end of that set amount of time (three weeks for example) the side that has gained the most "Victory Points" wins that time frame and then it all re-sets for another peroid of time. So any interested? P.S I'm just putting the idea out here not sure how well I would be at actually joining in or organising it....
Well thats open to discussion but you could use groups like the CDF and CHDSK out of Arma 2 and such. There's plenty of factions to choose from to have fight each other. * EDIT I was thinking maybe of using the Operation Arrowhead Expansion set up of Takistan (is that right?) for the setting. So either using the Takistani army and then the Rebel militia that exsists or using the Takistanti militia and US army, not quite civil war but close enough.
Since you probably didn't notice this thread about the clan reforms, I'm going to go ahead and tell you that this isn't the time to be doing something like this and this sort of thing is going to be handled differently once we've reorganized the clan.
