Mob rule is what you get when the only power that exists is given to the side with the most votes. And that's what you get in a pure democracy.

When you label something as mob "anything" you present it as negative.

I didn't coin the term, bro. It's been around since government has been around. But the meaning is pretty damn negative too.

And I would argue that mob rule is not "pure" democracy, as in mob rule people who are not effected by a decision are allowed a say in said decision.
An example of that would be: A community having a hand in deciding the laws of another community. Hence said community would be governing over the other, even though it is unaffected by the decision.

Mob rule is mob rule, whether or not it's local. When the only power that exists exists through votes then there is nothing to prevent the minority from suffering every penalty.

If it was truly democratic that minority would have the benefit of free association.

What? Democracy is a form of government, it doesn't guarantee any policies. And even if it did, I don't see how free association prevents the majority from pushing burdens onto the minority.

I think the boundary we are experiencing here is our differing views on the role of government.
When I talk about democracy I'm talking about Anarchy, and you talking about democracy as it exists now.

Anarchists do not want a survival of the fittest society, we want a highly organized society where no one man has authority over another.
Contrary to popular belief murder is not something condoned in an anarchist society, as the concept of taking someones life away is highly authoritarian.
