I click your source and find a blog post. By a user named "Independence Struggle." No actual quote, no documentation of any kind. Just a random blog post by someone who's bias extends beyond their writing. Is there any reason to believe anything at all that says?

Meaning? You obviously can not be a socialist in a capitalist nation. Thats why theres a little thing called solidarity and union. Socialism can not work without it. I seriously do not know what you are trying to prove. I am moving to the DPRK in a few years, socialist enough for you?????

Okay again another person on this forum who does not know what Communism or Socialism is. Seriously if people are going to argue it they should at the very least have a basic understanding of it. You can not be socialist or communist by yourself thats a no-fucking-brainer. However you can oppose the ruling class, the nationalist bourgeoisie, and promote the petty bourgeoisie and the working class. Communism is not like Fascism where you can just hate people and boom, you are magically a Fascist. Communism is through practice, the development of the proletariat and opposing imperialism.

You do not know what Communism is so I take little regard to any of your points.

But I don't need argue with you when your statements are full of personal bias, and hold no ground. You're no better than the conspiracy theorists I've dealt with before.

I am going to challenge everyone here on every ideology.

If capitalism is so great and it is the so called best system on Earth is you beleive the End of History theory, then why is there huge division within North America? Do we have it figgured out? Capitalism led to the mega farms similar to the collectivized mega farms of Stalin, but not state controled (dont worry, I am getting to communism after). There is mass urban migration from the American mid west and for those who remain, there is a massive Crystal Meth problem which was non-existant 15-20 years ago just after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the End of History argument was materializing. If we have capitalism all figgured out and it is about free enterprising, then why are millions of immigrants in Latin America treated as seccond class citizens and are unable to do free enterprising in the land of the free because the land of the free declares that only those already living in the land of the free can be free and therefore we must free those people by making sure Mexicans are not free. Closer to home in Canada, why is there an issue with land treaties signed with Aborigional populations and why is it always on the political backburner? Why is there federal resistance in Newfoundland, Quebec and Alberta to the federal government? If we celebrate multiculturalism, why do we resist Mexican refugees?

The west clearly does not have it all figured out and we have not reached this pinical of civilization with the collapse of the Soviet Union. But if we are so rotten, is their system any better?

The answer is no. They did not have it figgured out. The fist obvious question is why are there only a handfull of nations left from the Soviet block? Was it the Americans who were causing the collapse of the Soviet Union? Well no. As I have quoted several times before because I love this statement, a nation is run by a combination of concession and repression. It however cannot rely on only one. The biggest problem with Soviet Communism is it was unable to addapt to changing circumstances after Stalin. It was a product of export which caught on in Eastern Europe by 1949, but those regimes were run by repressive mini Stalins. When Gorbachev came along, he was a devout soscialist but he was also living in reality and wanted to end this cold war buisness and re focus the Soviet economy towards consumer goods and improve the living standards in the Soviet Union. However, Poland, Hungary, East Germany still had the old guard at the helm unwilling to change and people tired of being repressed. The government could have acted in the 70's and early 80's but by 89 when Gorby said something along the lines of self determanation, it caused the collapse of the system. They clearly had huge problems keeping up with demands of the people and were simply unwilling to adapt to changing circumstances. Jump to today and the DPRK vs China. Do they have things figgured out? DPRK is far more repressive than any other nation on Earth. It has transformed into a machine of self destruction. Why cant it acheive its goals peacefully and threaten its nabours with missle test and Nuclear detonations tests? Mabe it can stop with military build up and convince the west to be more lenient towards it? And China has improved her economy on paper but has created a huge gap between rich and poor in the process.

Now this is why I am critical at all systems and why saying you must be on the left or right or center all the time is dangerous. Now some examples of both systems working but in the wrong environment.

Kulaks, early Soviet Union allowed for a better transition from one system to the other with Agriculture as it solved starvation issues.

Free medical care in the west brought medicin to everyone excpet the United State.

Working capitalism at its best: 1920's was a time of great prosperity in North America. Working soscialism: Cuba up to this day. Unlike Korea it does not wave its military to threaten its nabours and has mannaged to be prosperous despite a trade embargo with the USA.

Soviet "Communism" is simply a form of state capitalism.

Trotskys International Communism theory is not viable. There was a reason why Stalins one nation Communism did so well under him, and even was able to sustain the soviet union for years after his death when revisionism plagued the USSR.

The reason why there was revisionism was because the Soviet Union needed to adapt to changing circumstances.

    Fixed.

Yah its because it destroyed the Socialist and International nature of the Soviet Union and replaced it with a State Capitalist Party Oligarchy.

There is no perfect system and never will be. There will always be somebody who will like a different system, there in no one perfect system. One system may work for one person but doesn't fit the needs of another.

Communism cannot function without atleast a massive portion of the earth under it.

Noone is saying it is perfect.

Infact Scientific Socialism predates itself on saying it isnt perfect.
