We use the meat, because my Dad thinks it's in bad taste otherwise, but it's not like we need the meat. The main reason is for sport. I don't enjoy it, though, so I almost never do it anymore.
I need to go hunting some time, of course I'm 13 so the whole shooting stuff thing is a bit early. I don't get why you guys would eat the food. I mean do you know where that rabbit has been? I'll take my McDonalds Drivethrough, thank you very much.
Never gone hunting. I often cannot squash spiders, due to the immense guilt I feel afterwards. I doubt I have it in me to shoot a Deer, Rabbit or Bear. (I am still indoctrinated into eating meat though. As long as you don't see the Animal suffer, it is okay to eat it.)
Never hunted myself, but I don't like the hypocrisy of meat-eaters who decry it. I have been fishing though. One time was when I was in the merchant navy while docked in El Salvador. On break, the local dock workers would cast their lines overboard (no rods mind) and I would frequently have to negotiate my way through a multitude of fish flapping about on deck. Naturally, seeing their success, I asked for a go, and one guy gleefully handed me a length. Anticipating a big catch, I cast off and waited for that tell-tale tug. I didn't land a bloody thing.
Has anyone gotten Salmonila from a Big Mac? Possibly, but sssshhhhh. Anyway, McDonalds isn't diseased, to spite that one Hamburger every Year. Rabbits get diseased a lot. And I don't trust my Dad to be the best Chef to get all the bacteria out.
