Really? In the Netherlands we have an alternative called "registered partnership". If people don't want to marry, but have the legal benefits they can just register themselves.

On topic though, I think homosexuals deserve all rights heterosexuals do, and I think they are equal in every aspect.

In Romania it's completely separate. People have to go to town hall to get married and then they can go to a church and wear crowns, carry candles and do all the other ridiculous religious stuff if they want to.

Here in America you can just do one, but I think most people would prefer the religious one.

I don't think you mean 'Religious'. I think you mean 'Christian'. Because as far as I can tell, most religions do not forbid Gay Marriage. Including, if I may add, Judaism, which has been around a lot longer than, and also spawned Christianity. Therefore, your argument does not work. The only other thing I can think of you claiming, would be that 'America is a Christian nation', in which case you are basically stating all that us Atheists have been trying to prove. Choose your next words wisely.

You all make it seem as though I only want the state to endorse Christian marriages... No. I'm saying that the state should have literally nothing to do with marriage at all. That there should be no benefits provided to anyone by the state when they legally unite with another person, and that there shouldn't be a state option to do so.

Has nought to do with gay marriage; people can do whatever they want about the issue so long as nothing is state-recognized.

if it was man would have the ability to get pregnant, and all humans would have desires for the same sex

homo sexuality fixed allot of problems in human development. In the early years of mankind they provided manpower but didn't burden the society with off spring (kids). So the population stayed under controll.
