I kept expecting something really convoluted and ridiculous to explain how the Doctor would survive.

Still doesnt link with silence in the library, and I feel like there's still the main evil guy still in the background... Well the episode got an 8 out of 10 from me

I saw this coming from 2 miles away. Well, not 2 miles. But since the "Let's Kill Hitler" (and really, did anyone not already know that she was the one responsible for the events of "The Impossible Astronaut?") episode. However, until I saw that I was thinking that maybe the flesh-form Doctor would be able to take his place or something, as that plotline is still unresolved. Also, though it was vaguely pseudo-answered, they have yet to explain why Amy Pond's Earth can't remember anything about the Dalek invasion or Torchwood or anything at all(they sort of alluded to the cracks in time being responsible, but that whole problem has been addressed...). It still feels odd that absolutely nothing that the 10th Doctor did is ever mentioned or apparent in the 11th's series. Matt Smith is great and everything, but he's no Tennant, and the focus on much more limited array of companions is a bit odd. As well, there are tons of paradoxes that have popped up since the 11th came on board, none of which have any apparent sustaining factors.

    Good stuff though.

I don't think it's matts fault, I feel the blame is more on Steven Moffit. He's good but leaves endings to last minute

Matt Smith is good, and Moffat is good, but they completely changed the show.

Yes, but it happens with every writer. Also annoyed at the BBC controller cutting the series down...
