So I know that a decent number members have graduated high school and are probably moving onto college, including myself, and I was wondering if we could get some tips from some of our forum's elder statesmen and or stateswomen (insert sandwich making classes joke here). My first question is about class schedule. So here's mine: Monday and Thursday- 10:20 AM- 11:35 AM (Macroeconomics) 1:10 PM- 2:25 PM (College Writing, Intensive) 4:00 PM- 5:15 PM (Anthropology: Language and Human Understanding) Tuesday and Friday: 11:45 AM-1:00 PM (Statistics, also on Wednesday) 4:00 PM- 5:15 PM (Comparative Politics) Is this a good schedule, time-wise? Or do I have anything to worry about?
Doesn't look bad in my opinion. To me the biggest thing you have to do is really make sure you stay on top of things because it's not like High School and if you miss things you might not get a second chance. Also as a question what are you majoring in?
Oy vey, I wouldn't advise taking classes after 3:00 (and if you do, go for the night class version), and I certainly wouldn't take a class that ends at 1 only to have your next class start at 4. I mean, if you live on campus, that won't be as much of an issue, but otherwise that schedule would be soul-crushing.
Thanks. I'm not sure what I want to major in, but I'm leaning toward Political Science. Living on campus.
